Just ask them OOCly if the description of the staff is something you need for an artisinal project or something. God knows I've asked so many random OOC things from people to satisfy my own curiosity/OCD projects and most of the time, they're very very willign to help you out.

You pick up a large rock and squeeze with all your might until your skin breaks and coats the rock with blood. A small smile of satisfaction quirks on your lips as it lengthens into a twisted staff.

The staff is made of a dark, petrified wood with blood red striations coursing through its length. The staff is twisted as though the petrified wood has been tortured and tormented. Putrid crystals grow out of the staff, looking like scabrous boils. The crystals pulsate with a gangrenous green glow, and the staff itself is tainted and fairly radiates a diseased aura.
It has 18 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 10 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Attendant Esano, Ire's Hammer.

Pretty sure it's weighted. HELP BUFFS (can't remember the weighting thing offhand).

It's something like this:
Esano releases his staff, which hovers in the air before him. He raises up his arms, causing gouts of noxious black clouds to spew up from the ground and surround a twisted staff in a seething column.
Small fissures open up in the tainted earth, releasing toxic fumes that blacken the ground and pollute the air.

With a great rumble, the small fissures on the ground widen to large cracks, sending great gouts of poisonous clouds roiling and churning into the air, making breathing difficult and your eyes water painfully.

The ground convulses and you are no longer able to see through the pitch black clouds that contaminate the air.
The stinking pollution coats your skin, dissolving your flesh like acid, and you choke upon the foul fumes that eat away at your lungs.

Nah, its cool. I've asked random people for information for bardics, and I have no problem answering other's questions.

It would definitely be more fun if the whole group decides to just stand inside the demesne and do nothing to resist their impending doom, then you'd see a whole stream of death messages on Deathsense and Deathsight, and lots and lots of experience. XD

I'd just like to know if there's some aspect of "bearing people's souls off to the Halls of the Fates" that I'm missing? Is there some grand rumbling portal-openage and then they toss the soul inside? Because, as it stands, Bardoon looks like your spirits just... leave with the soul. Which is unbelievably lame. They get the enemy's soul and leave. The end.

For the record, the Cantor instakill is virtually identical. Personally, I think it's cool. Gore is cool, but so is dignity and reverence. But it's not to everyone's tastes.

2. Does nature blend work in all forest environments, or does it depend on your commune which type it works with (like faeling regen)?

I'm a Glom transplanted from Magnagora. I understood lich benefits from mag's ghelp undeath. I haven't seen any documentation on nightwraith. I've asked a few peeps IC and didn't get much info. Can anyone explain the abilities/benfits for nightwraith?
