Time it with a wrathed angel with kneel and paralysis instead or something.

Yes
...
How?
They mature at the New Moon for Ravenwoods, and I would assume the Full Moon for Moonharts. Doesn't matter when they were planted, if the New Moon arrives and the right trees are in the room they grow.

Does 'growth' in nature accelerate the growth of growing Ravenwood/Moonhart trees as well as herbs?
QUOTE(Gregori @ Nov 27 2008, 03:30 PM) 587139
Yes
No. It's strictly by lunar phase.
EDIT: Suppose I should have checked the next page before I posted. Ninja'd by hours, woo!

Me again. :P
According to 'commune constructs', being a Nightwraith grants +1 dex. Well, actually... it doesn't. Shadowcaster Faelings have 15 base dexterity. With nightwraith aura and no other defences or afflictions, my dexterity is still 15. Does anybody else get dexterity from it, or is 'commune constructs' just wrong?

I know it did when I was an Illie.

Yeah, but what would be weighting it?

I have nothing else affecting my dexterity, so that +1 weighted ought to translate into +1 actual.

It could be a bug if you reincarnated or have any racial bonuses.
On a similar yet tangential note, exactly how much difference in terms of damage does 1 point of intelligence make for mages?

The change in damage with int is scaled pretty strongly with your base int. So, an increase from 14 to 15 will give a more significant damage increase than changing from 18 to 19.
I know if I compare the difference between a knowledge blessing (that boosts me from 19 to 20 int) to a war blessing (10% damage increase), my bashing is faster with the war blessing.

After the racial changes, I think that's not true anymore. It now follows a bell curve or something with the peak being at 20, so the increase from 14 to 15 is lower than the increase from 19 to 20, which is equal to the increase from 20 to 21.

What size are you? If you have a higher size than your base, you could have gained a weighted strength and lost a weighted dexterity. Otherwise, I can't think of anything else and you might want to BUG it.

Two questions.
1. What exactly does recklessness do?
2. Could someone explain lusting to me? Like, why people do it in combat? And how to notice it in the middle of a fight?

Reckless means your prompt looks like it's full. Even when it's not.
Lust acts as if you allied the person, you wont attack them. So against bards and druids/mages, or whoever else has something that they need enemied people it ruins their offence against them until you reject the person. I can't remember the exact lines, but there's a couple different versions of it.
Unknown2008-11-28 23:44:17
Lust also lets you empress people (Use a tarot card to teleport them to you instantly.). You can use that to teleport enemies into Supernals/Demon Lords for superfun!
Vashner2008-11-29 03:22:21
It's really annoying too since the people who can lust generally have something else to afflict you with while you're waiting for balance (or was it equilibrium) to come back after you reject.
Esano2008-11-30 06:11:27
Could I get a list of all the influencing messages, including all attacks, when a mob is immune to influencing and when a mob has already been influenced?

How does the Potion of Love (lust) differ from Psymet Pheromones?
