What was the not-so-recent change to aethercraft fusion that was supposed to be a "downgrade"? Is it still practical to use?
Also, if you have living things in your aethership (ie a mount, a familiar) and your ship explodes for whatever reason, will the living critter die also?

Since everyone on board dies, I would assume the critter dies as well.

What exactly does vomiting, weakness and sunalergy do to you?
Or alternately, is there a list somewhere that tells you exactly what all the ~billion differnt lusternian afflictions do?

Sunallergy gives you damage if you're out during the day every tic (however long the tic is).
Vomiting the affliction makes you hungry, and I think you chance throwing up your innards.
Weakness... I don't know.

Vomiting will cause you to regularly lose Balance.
Weakness will decrease str by 1 I belive
Sunallergy does Fire Damage while in the sun, and can cause death if left uncured.

It's now a delayed move that is broken (wasting power) by doing anything with the ship. So it is still very practical for going to aetherbubbles, no longer practical to use as an escape clause in ship-to-ship or ship-to-creature combats, and I suppose it'd be useful to meet another ship, if that ever happens.

While that would make sense I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen.

What Gwylifar said above in regards to fusion and also there's no such thing as cross-planar fusion now, so you can't fuse from your org dock to say...Xion since Xion can only be accessed on the Elemental plane and your org docks are on Prime. And also, no, your mounts/animals don't die when you blow up.

If all of the Demi-gods in the game got together and zapped an entire city, would that be greifing?
Xiel2008-12-09 17:53:26
Depends on how you define griefing.

Weakness actually prevents flying, possibly other forms of elevation change or movement as well.

Was that in the same change? Sorry, I had it vaguely in my mind that that was a separate nerf. That's the bigger one, I should have said it!
Xiel2008-12-09 18:32:06
Oh, piffle. We both got it in the end anyway.

Weakness prevents fast movement, like sprinting, too, I know. Vertigo prevents flying, if anyone cares. Sunallergy causes damage when you're outside in the daylight, and I believe it causes paralysis and eventually death if not cured. I think vomiting causes you to lose balance for very short periods, but I can't remember for certain.

Is a battle beast useless? based on tests done it is only capable of dealing 150< damage to an individual player every 10seconds without being able to attack denizens. That is quite negligible.

A. It's free damage, basically.
B. You should train your battle beast to do other useful things, such as trampling, casting web, etc.
Rika2008-12-11 15:06:09
Use minor breaths. Much stronger than battle.

How is foraging (in totems, under squirrel) designed? Is there a random chance that there will be food in a location, or does it respawn every so many hours? (and, I know that it only works in forests.)

Respawn, no idea how long.

Yeah, it's respawn. Some people sit in the room and do it multiple times, but that's pointless. Your best bet is to find a spot where people don't really frequent.

Or even better, go buy some food you cheapos.
