Exact numbers would be dandy for both one-handed and two-handed varieties. wub.gif

Edit: Oh, oh, oh - and like, full/field plate can be worn by any warrior, right? No matter who made the armour even if the warrior in question wasn't a forger? If so, what're the ideal stats for helms and full/fieldplate? You can temper them up to the ideal, right?

Edit Edit: And yes, at this point, the shopkeeper in me is fair squealing at all the possibilities for a wide range of ORGANIZING HEAVEN. dazed.gif

Edit Edit Edit: Also, monk weapons - ideal stats for the one and two-handed varieties? Are there ideal sets for bashing and combat, or are they the same thing?

Plate and fieldplate are basically the same thing, any warrior can wear it, the exception is Master Armour which requires you to be transed forging, had forged the armour yourself, and it takes I think 50% reserves and it adds a perma +10 to both blunt and cutting protection and only you can wear it and it never decays. The max stats you can get base-wise, meaning no coal runes/masterwork is 90/90 for both the armour and the helm

What's the longest anyone has waited for a design to go through?

My personal best (worst?) was around 52 RL days.

Anyone know the actual formula for health at a given level with a certain con? I'm either remember wrong, or the one I had is off.
Razenth2010-06-06 21:08:53
Does anyone have empirical evidence of whether damaged modules heal when docked?

In a log, no.

I have been sitting on a module that went from yellow to green while docked, though.
Xiel2010-06-06 21:14:27
Yay for tells and info. How about that there combat stats for one and two-handed weapons?

Yikes.

But, one time, I had a design approved in 34 minutes. So, the pendulum swings both ways! biggrin.gif

That is, in fact, my only way to heal modules, since I don't have an empathic grid. It takes quite a while to heal though.

Drawn straight from the top of my head, (4+(3*con))*level+300.

That's what I thought, and that's what it was in Achaea, but it doesn't match here.

It should.

What you're not accounting for is that size now also plays a small role. +- some small number of hitpoints.

Any Domoths and/or platters active? Construct defense? Any other defenses or enchantments active?

Also, don't forget Size. Smaller = less Health, larger = more Health.

Edit: Size ninja.gif'd by Xenthos.

Edit2: Although I should add, I'm unsure if Size factors into Health unless you're a different Size than the racial norm. It probably does, though.

It doesn't work since that day when everyone complained about how con was the most important stat and it got readjusted. It's not that pretty anymore.

(Size is a flat 10 hp, for what it's worth.)

They changed the formula to (6+(3*con))*level+300 at some stage. Now, you also add 10*size to it. I am pretty sure size is a flat boost that comes after all other boosts.

Ah, yes. I made a bunch of level ones to test with, and I was wondering why races with the same con and same level had different health. Even accounting for domoths it didn't work. That explains it perfectly, though.

Size isn't related to racial norms, it's simply additive to the base health. Furrikin have less health than Trill, and actually less health than Merian or Mugwump despite having more con, at level one at least.

Lately the designs I submit have been taking longer and longer to be rejected or approved, not really sure why.

Bashing:
one-handed: 115/85/280; two-handed: 230/187/280

Combat: (though subjective)
one-handed: 33/197/250; two-handed: 66/434/250

Kata: one-handed: 95/95/110; two-handed: 190/190/220
