When I was a newbie, the cloaked figure hadn't even been born yet, and you had to walk to Stewartsville barefoot in the snow, uphill.

I bet it was uphill both ways as well. Not to mention the blizzard.

When I was a young'un, we didn't even have the internet for years, and then when we did it was dialup, and we had to walk uphill both ways in the driving snow to get to the computer with the modem, and while we waited for it to dial we counted our frostbitten toes to keep entertained!

Does anyone have the dropped/examined of the dingbat prayer beads? I have the Lyreth ones, pondering either the Morgfyre or the Kalikai ones now.

Well you didn't ask for it but Eventrus are:

Sacrosanct Prayer Beads of the Exalted Lord:

Nearly a hundred beads of celestial light have been made manifest by some divine hand, shaped into two sizes and aligned in a simple, repeating pattern - ten pea-sized golden beads followed by a slightly larger orb of glistening, ivory-white light. The set itself repeats several times, each bead connected to its neighbor by two threads entwined about one another, each looking as if it were crafted from the light of the stars. The chain extends in a perfect loop, meeting back at its point of origin form where the two ends disappear into the mouth of a small conch shell, its surface gilded in celestial gold. A third string of the radiant beads extends from the bottom of the shell's opening, ending in a vibrant olive blossom, its pale petals shimmering with vitality.

Glistening beads of golden and ivory light lie here in a radiant loop.

Say, those are pretty snazzy. Thanks!

Most mobs will open unlocked doors in their chase for justice (or slaughter, as they are so inclined).

If it's locked, they will knock. Politely. Every time they try to move.

Ohh, that's right.

I locked the doors on that cloaked figure after moving. Thanks for the reminder. happy.gif

Reminds me of that time when we were changing servers, and we were on test and Shamarah got Shakiniel and Sarrasri was enemied. She followed Sarra to Serenwilde, where Sarra went in her shop and Shakiniel just politely knocked on the door.

If you leave one order for another, will the design/purpose of the prayer beads change as well? What happens if you are not in any order?
Sylphas2010-06-10 03:24:10
I assume you just touch them again and they'll set themselves to your new order.

Something seems quite useless about having prayer beads of which you don't know the exact number...

Everyone knows you fall asleep after the first ten or so Hail Eventrus.

Does anyone know how many milliseconds Winged Sandals of Haste shave from your movement limitation?

All things being equal, the default is one room per 500ms without any defenses or other buffs. It's 350ms with Adroitness (Acrobatics). I'm hoping Winged Sandals shave off something like 100-150ms.

Winged Sandals of Haste (and most other celerity effects) add one room per second.

Is there a way to prevent/resist getting tackled/barged out of a room besides standing before a nexus?
