Did you post in the 'Rollcall' thread yet? You're not a real person till you do! laugh.gif

Actually, just posting here would do it-- they need to make 1 post before they can make a thread.

Just to get my understanding of the stage right...creating a new production is making a new play, right? And that you can set dandy things like scenes and costumes and all, but what if you wanted to make like, a play series? Will you have to make a new production and re-create all of the scenes and costumes, or is there a way to just use the prior production then tailor it for the new elements of the new production and record that separately?

You'd need to recreate everything, but since an element in two different plays can have the same name and everything, just copy and paste.

Oh. Kk. Thanks!

I think it's 100 pages. I wish the info from the old Scrying Pool had carried over to the new Lore Wiki, cause the Scrying Pool had all the book pages listed.

But, my faulty memory wants to say:

Scroll/Pamphlet = 2
Journal/Textbook = 10
Book/Compendium = 25
Manual/Codex = 50
Tome/Omnibus = 100

Take all those numbers with a big ol grain of salt though. laugh.gif

I used to use it all the time hunting. It's great for breaking up clusters of aggressive critters, especially those who don't wander but reset randomly, like the cats in Snow Valley. You lure one of them out of the group, deal with it, and repeat. Just like Ethereal raids!

That... is a very good idea. Ok, I withdraw my allegations of uselessness from Mimic.

If someone wanted to use maple syrup as a part of a design, what commodity would be used to represent that?
Lendren2010-06-16 01:39:56
I'd use sugar, though one could argue wood would be the right thing to use.

Sugar sounds right to me. That should have been so obvious laugh.gif thanks!

The kouseki cactus withers up during the winter. But you can't work on either hand quest at all then anyway. Flowers are gained during the second part of the Hallifax Hand, or from a Dracnari nomad. You need cobras for it though. Two cobras per kouseki, and the nomad only makes red kouseki flowers.

Well, I need them for the waystation quest. Does that mean I have to finish the statue before I can get any flowers? I think I'm confused, because that would be ridiculous.
Razenth2010-06-16 02:51:54
You can get them when it's not winter.

As someone who had never had to deal with them before trying the Waystations, I was utterly perplexed by those flowers. You have to give cobras to some Dracnari nomad on Mt. Zoaka for a potion thing that you drop on the cacti to make the flowers grow. How was I supposed to figure that out without any clues? blackeye.gif

I always think that, then when I've done it two or three times it clicks and I see the clues I missed and go "Oh, right, that makes perfect sense."

Besides being handy for shieldstun, how much of a difference do shields really make?
Razenth2010-06-16 02:59:58
I've parried 10 blows in a row before in a test, soo, quite a bit.

If you get a shield rune, will that still stack with weaponparry?

Do shields help in pve at all?
Xavius2010-06-16 05:01:53
Shields do not help in PvE. They do help against PvP wounds.
Razenth2010-06-16 06:01:45
I would not get a shield rune for the simple fact that it can lock you into a specific archetype. Its fine if you slap it on a master instrument or whatever you call 'em, but what if you slap it on your athame and want to go druid?
