You can be an actor and the director, yes. And being onstage, you have to be backstage, so yes to the second one too.
The tricky part is being the director and not being an actor. The maximum number of actors who can make it to your performance and who actually show up is always less than or equal to N-1, where N is the argest number of simultaneously-on-stage roles in the play. So you will always end up playing one of the roles. Incidentally check your local library for my book "Stagecraft" that spells out how to put on a production step-by-step.

If you use the Lusternia facebook application, does it show the character name on the facebook?

Even if it does, you could be careful in who you share your Facebook with. That would benefit your concerns as well as your safety.

Yes, if you do something that earns a note on it, it will show your character name.
Fania2009-01-17 00:43:05
I think there is a way to hide that. Either way you wont know my alts from my Facebook page.

Speaking of Facebook, I tried to use the app, but when I enter in my character, the page loads but it goes back to the same screen. When I go to my profile, I don't see any Iron Realms thing anywhere. Is there supposed to be something?
I also tried removing and 'reinstalling', the app, but still no dice. I even re-registered to make sure that it's not because somehow I'm not in the database. Still nothing.

So, as a new player I find myself interested in the jewelry tradeskill - mostly for the design element. I've got a question regarding the gemstones, however.
Do they have the same range of colours as they do in the real world?
What I mean, basically, is that when I probe a beryl, for example, it shows as golden. There's nothing wrong with a golden beryl, but is there any restriction on making a necklace with, say, pale blue beryls? Or a pink sapphire, or a brown diamond? Those all exist in the real world, but do they exist in Lusternia?
I mean, its not a huge problem if the answer is 'you'll have to find out in game', or 'it depends on the design', but I'd rather not spend a great deal of time and effort on a design that's a definate no.

I think I saw a design with black pearls, so I'd have to say it may work out in game that they reflect a range of colors like they do IRL.

I've seen other colours of diamonds in jewelry designs so this should be fine.

Well, that's good to know, and thank you for the answers. Its nice to know the option's there.

I don't think you'll ever see a-typical colored gems in the game by probing them. I mean, if you probe 50 sapphires, they're all gonna be blue.
That said, once a gem goes into a design, you can't probe it individually anymore. So you can make a design with pink sapphires if you like and no one will be the wiser.

I think someone said he does that when he logs on. Well, you know what I mean. When he "wakes up".

Two questions:
1) What's the best trans trade skill?
2) Was Doman born like that (Mysoginistic newbie-violator) or did some event make him like that? Rather, was his first action after comming out the portal to tell is instructor to bend over?![tongue.gif](style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif)

Best trade-skill for a clothie, IMO, is Tailoring. Splendours are excellent.
