How to kafe, metawake, and insomnia each work? How do they interact with each other? Is there another sleep protection agency?

Kafe = wake up without the waiting.
Insomnia = stripped when something tries to put you to sleep instead you just going right to sleep.
Metawake = cannot be put to sleep.

There's also an ability in Dreamweaving that prevents you from being put to sleep.

Control. But Dreamweave Control is so much better than Insomnia, because with insomnia you have to smoke coltsfoot if you want to go to sleep. With control, you can go to sleep if you want to with it up, other people just can't force you to.

Unless they've changed it since I played Noola, anyway. laugh.gif

Is it a bug that people in suspended Animation can't be hit by violet/kether?

No, it would be a retardedly useless skill if it could.

Iasmos: not quite. You can be put to sleep with metawake. It auto-wakes you up a second or so later and has a heavy wp and mana drain associated with it.

It's supposed to be out-of-pase. confused.gif

It's supposed to be out of phase and you can't move or do anything except 1) cancel out of it or 2) wait for it to finish and come out "truehealed" (but with balance loss instead of prismatic). "Please kill me while I'm stunned for like a minute!" is not really worth a 10p feat.
Lendren2009-02-05 13:35:42
Good to know that WEAVE NATURE and WEAVE STATUE are, therefore, retardedly useless. You can be killed with violet or kether in those, you can't do anything at all, and you don't even come out truehealed! (On the other hand, they don't cost power to do.)
Shiri2009-02-05 13:37:46
Nor are they duration-limited, so you can use them to hide (as long as no one sees you do it and isn't perceptive about the room desc), and you don't come back with a large balance loss to prevent running away.

You only come out truehealed if you spend a while in it, by the way, it's not an instant effect.

EDIT: Actually, the best use I've seen for nature is when you have two forces standing against each other waiting for the other to move into the demesne/effects, and the bard doesn't want to be hit first.

You might want to play around with these skills more. They aren't the most flashy of the glamours skills, but they are definitely useful.

That was actually kind of my point, Sadhyra. But don't tell Shiri!

Um. How do you submit designs as a trademaster?

Doing DESIGN will give you everything you need to know. To physically submit a completed design it is DESIGN # SUBMIT. You can also choose to make it cartel or private, but you have to do that before you submit.

Does Lusternia have a set cure order for it's affliction cures? Like if x, y, and z are cured by the same thing they will always be cured in the order of x, y, and z if using regular cures.

A very few things work that way, but 95% of curing is random order.

I believe kafe also functions as a defense against some dreamweaver afflictions, such as hypersomnia. I'm not 100% sure on that though, having only ever fought a dreamweaver once.
Unknown2009-02-05 21:11:59
Kafe cures a couple of afflictions, such as narcolepsy and daydreaming.
Razenth2009-02-06 01:24:34
How much does it cost to parley?
Kiradawea2009-02-06 01:28:59
Somewhere between 75k and 150k depending on place, at the cheapest.
