The design should be approved and then it'll be good for the Beauty competition, I think, and you get messages for approval, no?
No messages for approval, you just notice things disappear from the pending queue. If your design has been approved, and you message the Charites saying "this is my Beauty submission", they don't send anything back to acknowledge (unless there's a problem): just hope they didn't lose it.

Oh alright, yeah I just wanted to be sure that I didn't have to receive any notification back from Them. Thanks!

So are there any bigger runebags that can hold more then 6 different types of runes or am I stuck using a buncha runebags?

You're in the same boat as every Dreamweaver/Tarot User/Runist.
6 runes, no more. Fortunately for you, they're less bags, and more bags of holding. They actually create and distribute a rift.

What exactly do the discretionary powers of flux and ripple do? The help files on them are really vague.

They both make it act as though you don't have the planar ability to survive there. Flux pushes you around the plane and damages you while ripple damages/stuns.

When do they usually announce the bardic/artisanal winners? I know the admin have been crazy busy doing all kinds of really cool stuff so I certainly wouldn't complain. On the other hand though, i submitted my first bardic last month and the suspense is killing me.

It varies greatly. The month before last they announced it on the 20th or later. Last month it was 10th or earlier.

Yeah, I submitted my first one in over a year last month, I'm very excited to see how it goes.

I'm guessing that with ascension stuff going on (especially the beauty seal, maybe), they're just pressed for time trying to get everything done. I'd rather then be judged well than judged quickly anyway.

Sarrasri enters from the northwest, emanating an aura of immense power.
The crone hobbles in from the northwest.

Celina plays a striped black and white violin of the Cacophony and directs the
exquisite notes towards Sarrasri.
Sarrasri gazes longingly at Celina.
7300h, 5400m, 5700e, 10p, 27892en, 24900w exk<>-
With a focused look, Darthen strikes at Sarrasri with a baleful rapier of
darkened steel, who brandishes a luminescent athame of serrated crystal.
Darthen's rapier is deflected by a flick of the opposing athame.

With a focused look, Darthen strikes at Sarrasri with a baleful rapier of
darkened steel. Darthen pricks her in the gut causing her to bleed slightly.

Sarrasri eats a horehound blossom.

Could be divinefire.
Sarrasri2009-02-13 23:57:59
It was divinefire.
Rakor2009-02-14 00:01:36
So, was that divinefire?
Shaddus2009-02-14 02:18:57
Maybe instead of that, it was divinefire?

Gold is always flowing into the Lusternian economy, but how does it flow out? Why aren't we experiencing hyper inflation?
Shiri2009-02-14 06:08:37
It flows out in places like comms, manses, and such.
Rakor2009-02-14 06:12:08
Beasts are a decent gold sink too.
Ashteru2009-02-14 14:04:40
Does ascending Demigods cost 500k power instead of a million? I can remember something like that.
Shiri2009-02-14 14:08:56
No. People SUGGESTED it do that because then it might give more incentive to do so rather than promotion-to-demi for a mortal fighter, but it never actually happened.
