New question: which'd make a better Serenguard, an elfen lord or an aslaran?

Elfen Lord is THE best warrior race.

I have heard that. But are the better stats of elfen lord not at least slightly offset by the level 2 balance bonus? (Of aslaran, obviously.)

Yes, they are, and you wouldn't be an idiot to pick aslaran, but elfen lord probably still comes out a bit ahead. That's the conventional wisdom, anyway.

How can I increase charisma without changing race? Aoife is base 12 charisma, uses populus and Netzach. So, she influences with 14 cha. Occasionally fortuna hits charisma, but not much.

Basically, how can I influence just a little faster? I use performance for ego regen and sycophant for empowering.

Beauty karma blessing give +1 weighted charisma. However, it looks like it wouldn't do anything unless Fortuna give +cha as well. That's all that I can think of for a Celestine.

Edit: You can get a throne made for you by Artisans as well. Sitting on a throne made for you gives quite a hefty boost in charisma, +2 or 3 weighted. However, it is quite expensive. You can also get a fellow Celestian Astrologer to give you a positive Lion sphere buff, which would give +1-3 depending on the stars. However, it isn't positive all the time.

You can also get a throne from Mortexia/Lendren!

Fortuna adds a point to a random stat. Sometimes it hits for intelligence, sometimes for dexterity, sometimes for size...you get the idea. I'll try the beauty blessing when my harmony wears off.

Hmm. How long does the boost from a throne last? An hour, two, 24.5?

I forget how long it is, but even if it does wear off (which I can't remember...and it should be longer than an hour cause I don't remember it fading during justice) you can just go sit on it again, there's no 1/mo restriction or anything.

Till death. You sit on it upon logging in and then if you die/log off, it fades.

I'm 90% certain that the throne boost does not wear off until you die or sign off.

Beauty karma is +2 weighted, not +1. You can also boost it through a herofete.

What range would the price of a Throne be in?

I think my throne was about 70k, and it's one of the cheaper designs. Plus, you need a manse to put it in.

My throne was something like 600 wood and assorted things like flowers. Shaddus advertises that he'll make you one for 35k I think.

I'm a Spiritsinger Bard. Was just wondering if someone could give me the run-down on how much different the play style (thinking of combat and hunting) would be between Wild Elfen and Furrikin.

You picked two pretty similar races there.

Got my throne built for 45k, all comms bought in commshops/shops, save for tints that I made myself. If you look for bargain deals on market and get stuff like gems from cheap jewelers, you could get one for less.
And that's like an investment for a long time.

Wild Elfen just happens to be the best bard spec and Spiritsingers just happen to be the best bards. You're already ahead of the curve! No reason to go furrikin over elfen other than RP or...being a dreamweaver.
