What is the formula for health/mana/ego?

LVL * ((CON * 3) + 4) + 300 was what I had for it, but it seems to be off by exactly 148 on each of my stats. Could be a buff that I forgot to factor in, or something changed in the last three years that I haven't bothered with the numbers. It's twice my level and four times my health gain per level ((CON * 3) + 4), though, so it seems like an odd coincidence.
Rika2008-10-09 06:09:53
That was the old formula. It is now LVL * ((CON * 3) + 6) + 300

Works same for mana and ego. Just substitution CON for INT or CHA.

Doesn't size add to health, though?
Rika2008-10-09 06:12:27
I think it's just +10 per extra size and -10 per less size. This is based off the base size for each race. So for a human with size 12, size 13 gives +10, size 11 gives -10. Don't quote me on this, though.

Casilu2008-10-09 06:19:31
In all seriousness, I thought it was just size, not the change in it that affected health. The change was for strength and dex.
Sylphas2008-10-09 16:47:26
Huh. When did I miss that change?

Can you put a Great Rune of Shielding on a Magic Tome?

Nope

Special item runes may only be attached to mage staves, druid cudgels, wiccan athames, guardian symbols, and bard instruments.

Meh. I'd read that, I was just hoping it was one of those things where the helpfile wasn't updated or worded weird or I was misunderstanding it. laugh.gif Ah well. Thanks though!

No. cry.gif

Try eating 15 of them and going, "Oh, gee, I'm still hungry!"

Well, IRL, if you eat 15 pieces of candy, do you feel full? I don't. I feel hyped up on sugar... but not full. laugh.gif

Learn when astral spheres connect and disconnect, since they will ALWAYS occur at the same times of the Lusterian day. For instance, Scorpio will always connect to Cancer during the mid-morning and always disconnect during the late afternoon. Once you figure a few things out it is very easy to schedule when you can and cannot reach your favorite sphere and save yourself extra trips (or if you want to take out all the fun, you can just get someone with a cubix to take you there).

Or someone with AstroBoots. happy.gif

If Casi is a faeling, then why are her parents an elfen and (he was at the time) a merian? Where did the fae part come from?

Answer that!

Blame the Portal of Fate. You can blame the Portal for just about any discrepancies in family relations, which makes me wonder why the admins bother with hardcoding requisite age differences and the like when the Portal can just be like "ummmmm no, you're 012846912745 now".

Prized only works on one piece of furniture, ever. I'm not sure if it 'restores' the months on the bed if you move it from the bed to the dresser - but I am pretty sure that is NOT how the Admin intended it to work, so I wouldn't do it in case I got caught and punished for it.

Otherwise, I'd issue. I think removing the prized is supposed to restore the furniture's previous months, though.

Stuff that adds the nodecay flag doesn't reset the decay times. I know this from when magiclist didn't show a * for nodecay items (i.e. have a rune-thing on them).

If you imbue an artifact with esteem and offer it/use it to sanctify/defile, will it still reset to you?

Yes.
Sarrasri2008-10-10 00:16:34
You actually can't imbue artifacts anymore. I've tried to only to fail.

Oh, really? Used to be able too. Oh well!
