I didn't move that line or anything. This is -constantly- happening to me. Why am I always becoming dizzy?

Are you deaf? Check DIAG. Deafness causes dizziness.

It's well established at low levels. At level 90+, this isn't so true.

Well, was it before or after the sip bonus/malus got sliced in half?

Can someone tell me the line that pops up when the month changes? Kinda of don't wanna wait another 4 hours for it...

EDIT: While you're at it, could someone also give me the lines that show up when you tap into the dross reserves and when you are forcibly unlinked because you can't draw anymore dross?

The month line is the same as the day line, except it's now the 1st of .

You can get yourself the dross lines, I'm pretty sure tongue.gif but it's something along the lines of "Your connection to the is severed as you cannot draw any more dross power."

And yeah, you are deaf. That little 'd' in the prompt is a dead giveaway. tongue.gif

so are powerstones basically uranium ore or what.

also quicksilver: Isn't it dangerous to be chugging down what is essentially steroids made from mercury?

Um, I doubt it unless a nexus is some kind of nuclear reactor.

Lets not try to have all things on the cure list come with FDA warnings or possible side effects.

Powerstones are not uranium ore, as uranium ore would not be pure enough to produce power.

Yes, you're not faster. You just think you're faster as the mercury takes your brain.

Would it be considered arrogant to walk around wielding my shiny new guild ledger?
Dai2009-02-18 23:14:45
No! If I was you I'd incorporate it into my description - it would be taped to me via a bandolier.

Isn't the ledger for the GAs?

Anyways, a lot of people do it to begin with, then get bored. I'm still amused by giving someone a guild honours for the reason of "Thank you for resigning" though. tongue.gif

Er, right. I meant rod.

How does sixthsense/blindness work? If a sand cobra in the Skarch bit me while I had sixthsense up would it strip sixthsense?

How useful is a shield for bashing? Does it offer significant (>10) damage reduction against denizens?

I think it does strip sixth sense, because I've had it up against cobras and found myself blind. Once it is stipped, then it blinds you. Sixth sense works well for when you lose an eye. I think.

Whether a shield is useful or not to you depends entirely on your class. If you are a warrior, no, a shield does absolutely nothing for you. The reason being, if you are a two-hander, you can't use the shield anyway. If you are a one-handed, and sacrifice your extra weapon for a shield, in the extra time it takes you to kill with half your weapons you will take MORE damage than if you had just used two weapons with no shield. But in the past I've seen Moondancers use them, so they do have some uses.

Rule of thumb is to NOT use a shield as a warrior (or monk), but to use a shield as a Wiccan, and I think Guardian too.

I'm not very good with rules of thumb. I only have two.
