Oh yeah, I'm an idiot, Fionn got it. It's not a dreamweaver or guide though, at least I got that part right!
Mihewi2009-03-16 18:16:12
Is there any way to destroy/disenchant/otherwise get rid of flamed key sigils?
Unknown2009-03-16 18:21:21
Ah, it was a manifestation then. I saw the sparkling wind right before that.
Razenth2009-03-16 18:40:56
How useful is Tarot for a city bard?

I believe they can still be disenchanted.
Now for my question, let's talk scale. If I were writing a story, what military size would be believable or acceptable for one of the cities? Are we ranging into the tens of thousands of soldiers or sticking in the single thousands? Or hundreds, even...I really don't know how much life the Basin can support.
Unknown2009-03-16 19:15:56
Thousands, I suppose. The Basin's supposedly a small refuge of life.

I can't imagine anything more than a few thousand.

Count up your number of guards, your active population, and add in an extra fifty or so for assorted mobs. That's how big your military is.
Krackenor2009-03-16 19:51:09
Not quite. If you take the time to look at certain room descriptions, you see many people that, while not given an actual model, actually exist in the background. First thing that comes to mind is a room in the Geomancer guildhall with dozens of geomancers milling around doing various things.
Jack2009-03-16 19:53:25
Yer, there's people perpetually swarming around Magnagora. If you look in the room "a panoramic view of the city" it talks about crowds of nameless no-shows swanning about. There's a lot of people you just don't see 'cause they're dirty peasants, and we're the mighty Portal-chosen heroes.
Vionne2009-03-16 19:54:45
I always figured the "random people milling about" to be representative of the active people who just aren't logged in, heh.

Remind me again how to change the value of a variable in Mushclient without opening up the actual Variables window and switching it there?
Ideally with instructions on how to put it in, my brain hurts from all the work I'm doing. I don't need extra critical thinking!

I am absolutely sick of the faction disputes. I want no part of them. It is idiotic enough that some bashing grounds are protected, but this perpetually one-sided war is driving me away from the game.
So tell me, do guilds often hunt rogues?

If you keep their skills.

Yes, the Ninjakari enemy for being rogue with our skills, if that's what you're asking.

At 500 or 501 posts, I think.

I think most people would enemy if you kept skills when you left.

Silvanus did well as a rogue Geo remaining in Magnagora. I mean, he was enemied to their guild, but he was influential enough that he remained part of the city regardless.
