Well, it was Silvanus. Who knows what he would have done if I kept my vote on him.
That's true, but it doesn't excuse it - you should at LEAST have tried to vote for someone else.

Ok, I'll just listen to the debate in the background.
Town. WTF? Really, WTF? Silvanus, ok, sure. Rika was a total luck job, despite what Shiri might tell you. I sold Simon out twice, but no one stopped to look at what was going on!
I was ok with throwing him under the bus just to give people an idea of how to reason through this. Furien nailed Simon's guilt down on day one. "Shaddus probably redirected someone's nightkill onto himself." How many powers would you redirect onto yourself? Really, you know everyone's role. Go down the list, find the one, and lynch that person. Easy! Last day, I said that someone's optional night skill was not turned in. How many of those do you think there were? Oh wait, only Celina's! Guess who I exonerated for you so that Celina would get one last chance to save you? The person you lynched! Aaargh. (Also, as an aside, Arix would have won the game for everyone on night four, except Shiri roleblocked Arix when he was tracking Simon's kill.)
The reason I chose this format was because the people who play on MafiaScum were complaining that the way we approach the game involves far too little analysis. So, I took away the roleclaims. We all know how our mods distribute powers, so you find the pattern, and lynch based on those. Bandwagon, bandwagon, bandwagon, lynch. Here, you just get all your roles up front, and ideally, you work out people's motives. Not one attempt to do that. Not one! Same ol' lynching based on demeanor and lurking.
I have to say, town seriously deserved to lose this one. All the information in the world, and all of a sudden, you don't know what to do with it?

Rika was totally not a luck job, she just played badly.

Your basis for lynching Rika was that no one died when you roleblocked her. 67% chance of being wrong there. The no lynch vote is pretty harmless, considering that it came from an unvote.

What? The no lynch vote was NOT harmless, especially in the circumstances. Didn't you see Silvanus trying to do the same thing and Rika's vote pattern that day?
The roleblocking thing just made it even more likely, it wasn't the sole basis (67% odds are good odds to bet with even if it was.)
Rika2008-10-08 02:07:12
If only I had been town. Then Shiri would finally admit to being wrong.

If you were town, you wouldn't have done that...

I was confused for a lot of this game.

I thought we were pals.

I won't lie, I couldn't really get into this game. I barely paid attention to it. Just didn't suck me in like the others did, dunno why.
That being said....I KNEW it was Furien or Simon. I just couldn't figure out which one it was...and then I missed my chance to nightkill which I was going to use on Simon since Furien was town. Sad. Panda.

No lynch really would have benefited us this game, since we had all the knowledge in the world we could allready get from lynching.
I think we got lucky on rika.

Good job, Simon.
Pretty glad I died when I did. I was getting a bit frustrated with being insulted over playing the game how I'm used to playing. (lots of analysis/talking) I'll try one more game but it may be that Silvanus was right afterall.
