Furien, I hate to say it.. but you've been really sparse this game. You started on Noola because she hadn't done anything to prove herself town, but what about you? I'm beginning to think it's far more likely you're the last scum, as quiet as you are, kind of flying under the radar... besides, you really ought to have offered to use your power to save the last person to vote on Myrkr if you're town! You haven't used it at all, have you?

Vote: Furien

My power doesn't work that way, I think you're just grasping at straws. I can save people from lynches. If something happens instantaneously, I can't stop it because I have to send my PM in before it happens. This includes vengeance- it takes place beyond my powers (lynch), and happens instantly.

Also, for your first point, this is where we're just going to have to disagree. My power is a really flimsy one. If I use it to save someone in the game, everyone's going to hate me for saving their obvious lynch target, since there's no anonymity here. And, as stated above, I couldn't use it in the situation it would have been most useful in because of mechanical restrictions. Even if I do save someone, like I've said several times throughout the entire game, I can't guarantee they're not scum. I don't want to risk saving the life of a scum.

If you're wanting to point out someone's gaming habits, might I turn your attention to that really flimsy reasoning behind trying to off Celina, our only pro-town nightkiller? She found it just as questionable as I do.

The following people are alive:

Simon- Doctor. Who conveniently had a spastic moment of self-preservation that supposedly got Shiri killed.
Doman- Has been using his time power to prevent scum from nightkilling. We'd be dead by now if it wasn't for him.
Celina- Nightkilled a scum for us.
Furien- Innocence protested as above.
Arix- Risked himself to off Myrkr.

Now, today is either our second-to-last day.

1. We'll lynch- down to 4
2. Scum nightkills- down to 3. Down to 2 (and maybe death) if Celina nightkills (and does so wrong).
3. Last Day starts- If there's two scum left, we're dead at this point. Doubt it, though.
4. We lynch someone, here, hope it turns out right.

Now, re-examining the above list, Doman and myself are really the only 'confirmed townies', if you will. Celina could have easily just offed Rika because she was being pressured to do so and wanted to retain the image of being a townie. The whole town wanted to off Rika, anyways! The only problem with this theory is that Celina having two nightkills is just odd (I need to look back on a post for this). Arix is less likely to be scum. Probably the least. There's no reason for a scum to just dogpile onto a vengeance, especially if they're our last one.

Furien2008-10-06 02:58:47
Right, I double checked- in the night that Rika was nightkilled, Rhayni also simultaneously copped it.

If it's not Simon, I'd put my money on Celina. But I would much rather it be Simon and the game be over with the town scraping a win.

Uh, you're kind of skimming over what your power actually says. You're able to prevent a lynch -or- a daykill before it happens, if you know the target. I know that even if you're scum, it's a bit much to expect you to use it on a lynch, because we'd immediately suspect you, and no one can blame you for not predicting a daykill like Silvanus's ability before it happens, so this is the only reasonable time you could have tried to use your power... and you didn't. Even if it had failed, it would have been an effort to keep someone alive, but you just let it go! That really seems highly suspicious to me.. you aren't confirmed town, and to me you just admitted guilt in that very blatant omission.

I also have to raise my eyebrow at you for saying my reasons are flimsy in the same post that you -use- those reasons to point at Celina for being somewhat suspicious, as well as repeating the reason that I removed my vote (the two nightkills thing)! That's a really odd thing to do, and it smacks of desperately pointing fingers in every directly but yourself.

I have nightkills to use!

I'm having a really hard time picking between Simon and Furien at the moment. I'm going with a gut instinct here. Furien hasn't come across as scummy to be other than one particular thing. She has supported me as pro town this entire game, but her last post basically said either I or Simon is scum. Seems really odd.

Vote:Furien

Here's hoping I am right

Sorry Furien, you have just been pushing too much. If we lose, I'm sorry guys

Hi guys! Give me a sec to read over posts here
Arix2008-10-06 11:48:46
never mind, that's a lynch on Furien
Xavius2008-10-06 15:38:59
Furien was town. After a long, frustrating, and depressing day, you decide to get some much needed sleep.

It is now night 5!
Xavius2008-10-07 02:13:25
Hi everyone! Your friendly mod speaking.

I'm waiting for one night choice. It's one of those optional ones. I see that the person in question has been on the forums since night started. 11 hours isn't all that long, but I also know that a few of you are itching to get going. So, first living person to post a preference here gets to decide if night continues or day starts.
Arix2008-10-07 02:14:49
Let's go! Yay daytime!
Xavius2008-10-07 02:16:15
No one died!

It is now day 5.
Unknown2008-10-07 02:22:05
Okay, this just confirms to me that Arix is town, because that's who I protected last night. Arix, did you get any information last night?
Arix2008-10-07 02:28:04
well this is awkward, because I tracked you

Eh, I don't really blame you... We've come this far, and I'm determined not to let ONE LAST SCUM win the game.

But for now, the important thing is to choose this lynch well. If we miss, and I protect the wrong person tonight, the game's over. What do you think, Arix?

Arix2008-10-07 02:57:54
What I think is this:

you protected me, and I tracked you, so neither of us is mafia. Doman I tracked on a day we had no kills, but he did stop night, which would be detrimental to scum, so I doubt it's him, Therefore I am going to

VOTE CELINA

Hmm, yeah... and I feel like he's been very upfront with us this whole game, and not trying to fly under the radar or anything. Celina's been really quiet, and she justified it by saying she was "confirmed town", but we really haven't confirmed anything, we just had a reason to believe so at the moment...

Vote: Celina

Wait, what's the logic behind this? I can't defend myself if you don't have any reasoning other than I've been apparently lurking.

Vote Count (for four people!)

Celina - 2 (Arix, Simon)
Not Voting - 2 (Doman, Celina)

With 4 alive, it's 3 to lynch!
