I don't think there is any reason why people with information shouldn't reveal anything.
Unknown2008-10-01 03:33:55
Er... I'm not sure where to start either...
I don't know that the scum would necessarily target the Nightmare man first... with all the roles known, there seem a few that would be more threatening than random misdirection, especially on the first night. Can we assume Shaddus died because he targeted someone protected? Or maybe the scum really did just go after him first?
And Shiri, I think the only flaw in asking for the information people to speak is that if one of them is scum, they'll likely lie. I think they should just tell us.

Not like they're anonymous in their roles this time.
Rika2008-10-01 03:36:26
It is very likely that the more important roles will be protected/watched, so I wouldn't be surprised if the scum went for someone people wouldn't bother caring about.

One possibility is that something weird happened with his targetting and the protection and the gunshot, but I think I'd get a headache trying to puzzle that out. Does it change our strategy any depending on which version of events is correct?
Anyway, I guess we'll wait for Matt and D.L.

Um.. please use forum names and not character names. Not all of us follow Heroes

It's on the front page.

Oh come on, I'm already confused enough!
Shiri2008-10-01 03:49:11
Oh, and while we're at it, Nathan may as well tell us who she (Silferras) targetted when she comes back from school, since then we can start ruling out Canadian claims.
Incidentally, about the "lying" part - an advantage to having information roles do this without a really good reason not to is that we'll be able to disregard huge chunks of misinformation if they come up scum after death (or if we kill someone based on their info and it turns out to be otherwise.)

But you should totally start watching Heroes cause it is awwwwesome.

I live in New Zealand. Enough said. And Shiri, I'm too lazy to flick back and forth!
Silvanus2008-10-01 04:45:23
Is it possible that Shaddus targetted somebody that was protected, and the mafia didn't kill at all? Either by roleblocking or protecting.
I don't know who to vote for, really, mafia could be anybody knowing that Xavius did assign scum roles based on random.org.

It's highly unlikely because Xavius claims the mafia has guns, and Shaddus was shot.
As for who to vote for...yeah, if the information people didn't get anything I don't know either. We could go for someone we're likely to not rely on much for the best chance, but just figuring out scummy activity from discussion would be better.

Hence why we should have random-voted like normal. Unvote, Vote: Shiri
I think it was your post that stopped the game from moving forward and I don't like it.
Shiri2008-10-01 05:09:23
Vote: Casilu for insistence on not trying to get information and covering things up!

I agree with Shiri. We know everyone's powers and we have the results of one night to go on. We should be able to be more logical than random.org. I don't blame you for starting off being random, but why brush off all the information we have access to? It's something to discuss, and even if someone's lying now, we can start looking for scumminess.

See? Three votes already! I started us moving, did I not?
Doman2008-10-01 05:31:12
meh, I'm completely unfamiliar with a game like this. The only thing we have to go on is behavior, and there's not enough suspicious behavior to vote
Shiri2008-10-01 05:35:29
No, we also have whatever Silferras/Rhayni/Arix tell us. And...Casilu, now. Guh.
