Who IS Maria?

Gerald Robotnik's granddaughter. Befriended Shadow but was killed when GUN soldiers stormed the ARK.

When Shadow was being created by a Dr. Robotnik (not Eggman), his granddaughter helped him. Her name was Maria. She always talked to Shadow and made very good friends with him. She was the only person not afraid of him, and she was his best friend.

Then the army killed her.
