In a low, gruff voice, Rhymer with the Lyre, Sadhyra d'Illici, Rising Resonance
says, "Hello, darlin'"
Sadhyra lets out a massive belch into the air.
Rhymer with the Lyre, Sadhyra d'Illici, Rising Resonance scratches his balls.
You gag a bit as Sadhyra's stink wafts over you.
Throwing his hands in the air, Sadhyra tosses his head back and laughs
sadistically.

That wasn't what was advertised. D:

Lendren Starfall, Steadfast Teacher of Dawn says, "Combine them and hand them to me."

Aiyana gives a group of 35 auronidion particles to Lendren Starfall, Steadfast Teacher of Dawn.

Aiyana gives a group of 50 auronidion particles to Lendren Starfall, Steadfast Teacher of Dawn.

Aiyana gives a group of 50 auronidion particles to Lendren Starfall, Steadfast Teacher of Dawn.

Lendren shouts "Oi!" at the top of his voice.

Lendren Starfall, Steadfast Teacher of Dawn says, "Combine them first!"

Cut out the people who did actually combine theirs. Poor Lendren.

I have an if-then loop to seperate all of my particles and give them to my victim.

Not really, but I should

Next time, I'll have triggers to count particles and portion out gold appropriately without me having to scribble it on paper, but I didn't have them this time. Too busy on my Harmony preparations! Naughty Culture Minister, no cookie.
Kiradawea2009-02-11 21:52:43
You give out gold based on particles given in? That'd never work in Celest.

That seems like a silly way to do it anyway. If you were there the whole time but someone else was faster on a pick up button or something, there's no reason they should get paid more. o_O
Kiradawea2009-02-11 21:57:58
Exactly. I already have enough with people trying to suck up by spamming "g particle" the whole weakening through.

Seems fine to me. It encourages you to actually go to the weakenings, even if you do just stand around and do nothing else but pick up particles. And if people want the gold, they'll go focus a construct and not go AFK for an hour.

From what I saw, people turning in particles had about the same number if they were there the whole time.

Just because someone is picking up particles doesn't mean they aren't AFK. When a friend of mine played, he looped picking up particles and then went afk for an hour and managed to get just about all of them.

Amidst discarded clam shells.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Quahog,
the Clamdigger putters about here, shovel in hand.
You see exits leading north, east, southeast, southwest, and west.

You unearth the corpse of Yelaras!

Look, I didn't have the power to fossilize him at the time...

Probably someone unsure of what to do and just burying him for a funeral.
