Some people just need to have the ability to shout taken away. Permanently.

You mean everyone in the cities? tongue.gif

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "It's fools like you who make this city soft. Flailing around getting your panties in a knot. Harden up princess, and pray I don't come back any time soon lest I nail you to a cross, and leave you in a crying, sobbing mess pititfully begging for a mercy that won't come."

You might as well post the whole thing.

Here we go, the whole thing.

QUOTE
(Magnagora): Murphy says, "Every time i come back through i hope to see this
city harden up, alas it pains this old Dreadlord to see nothing such has
happened."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Then do something about it."

(Magnagora): Shaddus says, "Hush, Krackenor."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "My triumphant return awaits a change to the ethos of

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "As of now, you are nothing but an old man dreaming
of better days. For all we know, you have become soft and toothless."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "If you wish a triumphant return...make it."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "No, I have real memories of better days, days when we
ruled supreme. Days when imputent pups such as yourself were crucified and
sacrificed for your insolence."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Perhaps you do come from a better yesterday...but
what good has come of living in the past?"

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "But the lawmakers and bureucrats make this illegal
now."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "Sorry for interrupting this conversaton, but I do
believe that we are not in the position for fighting ourselves now."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "We must focus to repair the damage as fast as we
can."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "No, no...let the old warrior finish his reminicing
about bygone days."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "And then, when he is done, we can return to the
present."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "I don't need permission to remember, especially from
an upstart, young little censor.gif like yourself."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Good! Remembering is all you do these days."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "Past is past and present is present! Let us make
more good things to remember..."

(Magnagora): Shaddus says, "Krackenor. Sleep or not, you will not disrespect a
Marquis."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "It's fools like you who make this city soft. Flailing
around getting your panties in a knot. Harden up princess, and pray I don't come
back any time soon lest I nail you to a cross, and leave you in a crying,
sobbing mess pititfully begging for a mercy that won't come."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Of course. How could I have forgotten my place. I
apologize, Dreadlord Murphy, for insulting you and your great achievements in
the recent past."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "I respect and honor you for your service in the
past...but why should we worship you now?"

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "Worship me because I am the embodiment of fear. There
was many days where no celestine nor serenwilder would dare travel the highway
without first checking if I was around."

(Magnagora): Vena says, "They said the same about my great grandfather."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Yes...there WERE many a day."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Who remembers you now?"

(Magnagora): Vena says, "Who remembers Brona? I sure don't."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "I remember the Dreadlord, and he was feared and
should be shown respect for what he has done for the engine in the past."

(Magnagora): Corientumr says, "Perhaps agruement isn't the way to solve the
problem but action. We, or at least I, look to our predecesors to see how to
become great because Magnagora was with them."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "The Engine would not be in such a shambles if we had
more citizens about such as him these days."

(Magnagora): Corientumr says, "I agree."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "And as I said, I do respect him for that."

(Magnagora): Nariah says, "Does the past entitle him to berate a whole city that
he hasn't a clue about having been slumbering for so long? I don't think so."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "Then show respect in how you use your tongue."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "More people have forgotten about me than will ever
know you. Ask any enemy leader they will recount the fear that myself and my
comrades-in-arms stuck into their hearts."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "Maybe the Engine needs to be berated."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "The engine ALWAYS needs to be berated."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "We are a sad shadow of what we once were."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "Just because the Dreadlord spoke truth does not mean
we have to cry over it."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "We better start doing something about it..."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "Always has, always will."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Very true. Few will ever know me. I do not shout
my name to the world for all to hear. You were a great warrior, perhaps you
still ARE a great warrior. But if you want change, then be a part of it. Do not
remind us of how great Magnagora was."

(Magnagora): Nariah says, "Who claims otherwise? It is a privilege of few though
and definitely not of those who have been slumbering and had no hand in anything
whatsoever in the last fifty years."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "I don't see how our sweet talk is helping us."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "Fifty years...has it been that long."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "Even for one who has slumbered for so long, his
words are more empowering and have more effect than a great many of the people
who are active throughout the city yet never lift a finger to serve or aide the
Engine."

(Magnagora): Shaddus says, "Well said."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Perhaps you are right. let us ask."

(Magnagora): Krackenor says, "Citizens...have Murphy's words inspired you to
perform at new heights?"

(Magnagora): Nariah says, "I hope you have been greatly empowered by his words
then, Ethelon. I certainly find them dull and cliche, they have no bearing.
Words of those who are here and actively make the Engine turn is those I listen
to."

(Magnagora): Jigan says, "What we his words?"

(Magnagora): Vecanamu says, "Not really."

(Magnagora): Jigan says, "Were, ratehr."

(Magnagora): Shaddus says, "I was empowered a bit. The Engine has been spinning
it's wheels lately, and needs a bit of a kickstart from time to time. Though a
bit harsh, Murhpy's words struck true with me."

(Magnagora): Ethelon says, "And I."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "I find them only true, but speaking about something
and doing nothing about it..."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "We all can speak about the past."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "What about actions?"

(Magnagora): Ebbirxin says, "Yes, there is yet to be a solution presented."

(Magnagora): Corientumr says, "Because it's not going to get better by just
talk."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "Seems to be that the engine hasn't been turning all
that smoothly lately...perhaps i shall make my return sooner rather than later."

(Magnagora): Nakarel says, "Exactly. We are wasting our time in sweet words."

(Magnagora): Jigan says, "Murphy's words, having now been told when I
specifically asked someone what they were, are not something I find
inspritational."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "Nor were they meant to be."

(Magnagora): Jigan says, "However, I do find them worthy to be said."

(Magnagora): Murphy says, "Still, perhaps we have enough hard fighting men left
to make us great again."

(Magnagora): Jigan says, "The slavemaster's whip is not inspiriational, but it
does need to be said."

I hope Murphy comes back, the game was great when he was around, he was always good for bringing out the best in Celest.
Gregori2009-03-07 04:06:28
Just to note. I was one of those enemy leaders when Murphy was around. He wasn't that scary and about the only place he was "looked for" was in rockholm killing miners.

Edit:: In fact back then more people were scared of Visaeris than Murphy. He does have a good bark though.

Shhh, people don't know that. They only know the stories. What he actually did isn't as scary was what the legends say, and it is the legends that inspire fear.

Huh. Is Valek still noodling around? Back in the day it was Daevos and Valek who everyone peed themselves over.

QUOTE
Archmage Jigan, the Crimson Brook says to Sthai, "You could use your female wiles to win her over."

Holding his hands up, defensively, Archmage Jigan, the Crimson Brook says, "I'm just sayin'."

Sthai begins to chant in a deep and baleful voice, and an iron cross rises up from the ground before Jigan. Vicious spikes slam into his flesh and nail him to the cross. He screams in pain and agony as blood is splattered in all directions.

Archmage Jigan, the Crimson Brook says, "I suggest something perfectly reasonable, and then promptly get crucified."
