Viravain and I got into a betting match as to whether or not we could make the game lag hard enough to get people killed. Alas, we ended up crashing the game for half the people.
On a more serious note, it seems not everyone lost connection - my understanding is a few people (one was in asia I think?) didn't lose connection, so it sounds like someplace on the way to the IRE server dropped for a minute.
That, or else said person has lag so bad they thought they didn't drop because for the ten minutes we were down, they saw script from the past hour going by at a regular speed.

I actually once did that! I accidentally made a macro that looped, and that made me spam "lick" so many times the game just dropped. It was hilariously ridiculous.
