Didn't Xiel post a couple of pages back? In short, the ability to have stabled beasts eat from feedbag.

If you retrain a beast, they forget what they learned, yes? But they retain their points in that field. Could it be possible to allow a beast to have X number of points (but can't use beyond their max of 600/700/800) or that counter-reagents be available to remove training points?

To my knowledge retraining is only available to credit bought pets, they have the option to reset the number of points by appending "full' to the command or leave it out to leave the points.

Hmm anybody know how to use the Beastmaster skill?

I tried BEASTMASTER LEARN CURING and BLOCKING but neither seem to work.

Since your points are limited, I'd rather pay the credits to get more intrinsic abilities and have more points available for more training. So, not only do custom beasts get the bonus points, they get bonus abilities, meaning they've got a considerable edge in the world of the beasts.

Beastmastery could probably use the MOUNTS ability from Riding as well so you can figure out where in the world you left your text pony.

Or just change beast list so it says where.

Agreed. I've wanted to do this a few times already. I haven't once forgotten where I stabled him, but I do sometimes leave him somewhere and have to find him again.

But how about a fragment of Bollikin, not unlike a furrikin that changes into different animals depending on feed?

No, sorry, those abilities are not really part beast system and isn't possible to list as inherent abilities.



Anyway, I'm glad you guys like Beastmastery so far! I was bracing for grief from the contingent of "You should fix what we have and stop adding new stuff!" crowd.

I've only seen a couple of those posts and I'm glad! I think the sheer awesomeness of Beastmastery has people too captivated to think of it. laugh.gif

I want a snake beast! Then, I can teach it to fly so it'll grow wings and I can ride around on a giant winged snake!
