I'm sorry, I just can't stop laughing. I can only imagine this is karma for making fun of my poor, boring (alas, at least not mutated) beasts.

There's a book on beastmastery for those who don't understand it. halo.gif quickexit.gif

I must too, admit my dislike of beastmastery. Partially because of this. I understand it fine, I just hate having to plan. I never plan anything. And with beastmastery, I have to plan out what feeds, the purpose, it's all too much of a pain.

Which is why we need retrainable guild mounts, if something turns out not as good as i'd hope well it's what... 12 hours of killing the stag til it's gone before I can even start incubating the second.

Compared to the other beasts, the ponies description is very... lacking, it's barely two lines, and that's if you have wings and all of that stuff, seems like they were rushed or something.
Unknown2008-12-30 13:23:33
I don't think I've seen different wyrm descriptions?
Esano2008-12-30 13:39:53
At the moment, none of them have matured. The teeth change, though. I've seen bloody, sharpened, and a few other types.

Fed entirely on oatfeed and fruitfeed during his training (all his trains are influence-related or movement-related), and on vegfeed after (he's from Estelbar, of course I'm not going to feed him meat!).

The stag's sleek coat is brown, which adds to the creature's fair appeal. The
stag gazes curiously about himself. His solid, arching neck culminates into a
crown of branching antlers that sweep up in a graceful curve, and he has brown
wings. Widespread ears sit below them, alert for those who would disturb his
habitat, ensuring he is ready to flee on slender legs or use his antlers to
deadly effect. He is called 'Celiina.'
A fair, brown stag with brown wings appears to lack strength.

You administer a dose of zimoru reagent to your stag. A golden glow surrounds
him which shimmers and you watch in amazement as he transforms into a handsome,
amber stag with brown wings.

Found this funny.
As a side-note I'll be having two horses for sale pretty soon, I'll let you all know when they mature.

If you aren't able to scale, and land mountains, you'll fall down them one level every second or so until you hit the ground.

I don't see a Climbing skill in Beastmastery. I.e. so you can climb up into trees while mounted. Am I just missing it?

If it's really not there, it seems pretty funny, because my pony will follow me when I climb into a tree. Being able to train the pony to do it while I'm riding her doesn't seem like a big problem.

And how about rooftops?
