Poor Kaasma...
(Would pre-existing pets that get converted over to this have an option to have wings added to the description, if desired? Or would that cost more)

If an existing pet purchases the inherent wings option with credits, we'd certainly update a custom wings description for free.

Do the breath/spell moves for beastmastery require you to be riding them?
Also, with purchased pets, does this mean that the 800 training points you automatically can become whatever it is you need so long as you feed them enough (and the right type) reagents right?

What are the various breath weapon options? Just damage types?
EDIT: And spells.

You don't need to ride a beast to have it use a breath weapon or cast a spell.
Pets have 800 potential training points and using a reagent uses moves those potential training points into available training points (depending on the type of reagent). You can then train your beast with abilities that use those training points. Once per game month, a pet owner can retrain their beast either to forget all its abilities OR forget all its abilities and start over with 800 training points.

Any chance I can get a response on that question I sent to artifacts@lusternia.com, please? Since that will influence how many credits/lessons I have available.

Breath weapon types are damage types, yes.

Can you clarify how training points work? Let's take flying for example, since everyone loves flying beasts. It's a 100 training point body skill. So, I need to feed it enough boduru reagents to get 100 training points, which is part of my 600 total. Then, to train flying, these 100 body points is then 'used up'?

We've just found out that 1 reagent is 10 training points, by the way. So they're very cheap.

Correct.

Oh, okay then! Thanks. A thumbs-up for what seems like a fun (and confusing) system. Hope everything works out.

Cool, thanks.
PIGPEDO 2 COMING SOON.
Edit: Nejii has kindly informed me that the name needs some work. Inquire within.

So in HELP BEASTMASTERY it speaks of what to feed them to... gain stats...
STATISTIC REAGENT FEED TYPE
Body Bodoru Meat/Oats
Mind Mindoru Fish/Vegetables
Spirit Suporu Eggs/Fruit
And, just for example... let's say you want to add FLYING, which is 100 training points in TYPE: body.
How do you know how much food is worth how many points? Do you have to give the pet 200 body, 200 mind, 200 spirit? 600 body? etc?
I don't understand how the training works.

I think as long as you have 100 body, you can learn flying. And then if you want to learn another body skill, you need to have more body points.
Unknown2008-10-12 02:35:13
Each reagent is worth 10 points.
Ardmore2008-10-12 02:37:23
So food is specifically just for the looks? You use the reagents to train body/spirit/whatever?

Traitor Bob.
This one is actually amusing.
Unknown2008-10-12 02:40:30
Yeah. Food determines what desc they get in the end. Say an all-meat would make your beast morbidly obese in its desc with the heartstop attack.
Ardmore2008-10-12 02:42:44
lol.. okay so yeah, ok! I don't have to worry about food then for training my pet! Just reagents!
And another thing is - if you dislike some of the skills is it possible to retrain them? I haven't seen anything about that yet, but maybe I missed it.
