Silly, yes. Idiotic?... yes.

You play a minor second on a midnight black tear stained violin and direct the disharmonic notes towards a mutilated mugwump.
Blood trickles out of a mutilated mugwump's ears and from the corners of his eyes.
You have scored a WORLD-SHATTERING CRITICAL HIT!!!
A mutilated mugwump screams and dies, as his eyes fly out of their sockets and blood splurts out of his ears.
You have slain a mutilated mugwump.
My first!

Three words? Erm.
I love you? o.O

I had to make a really tough decision. I had to choose between roleplay and enjoyment of game. It was no contest. I chose personal enjoyment.
I forgot Bookbinding and picked Jewelry instead. I had lots of RP fun with Bookbinding, even if no one else could see. I made a random insult generator that involved using the languages, but I never got the chance to use it. Still, was fun making it. But, I didn't enjoy the skill at all. It was the only skill the I ever regretted putting lessons in. So I made the tough decision, as Bookbinding was a really big part of Caerulo's RP, and switched.
On a lesser note, I switched Hexes with Astrology for the same reason. Hexes was important to Caerulo for RP reasons, but because I never got involved in combat, I never saw the incentive to put lessons in it. This whole time, it was as good as having just two guild skills. Not now. I changed to Astrology, and I -love- giving out buffs in games that I can, so hopefully I can get the lessons to do so.
And heck, I didn't totally break RP. Caerulo's getting old. I could call it his centenarian-age-crisis. I sure am having some fun RPing an old man who is still young at heart. Now I regret poking fun at Shayle for her age then.
Edit: Although, now I'm torn. Should I try to get Mastercut in Jewelry, or Lion in Astrology first. But its a good dilemma!

Fain.
Fain says, "You use logic in a peculiar manner, Jigan."
Fain says, "You take the first step, and skip the intervening
ones before arriving at your conclusion."
I know that's essentially a veiled insult and encouragement to actually fill the blanks in, but the resulting conversation from the next things said and talking to myself really got my head moving for once.

And this is what we do with people who show blatant disrespect for fellow citizens. Good riddance I must say. Let this serve as a warning to everyone else if you consider letting him into your city or commune.

Meliana tells you, "Aye."
You yell, "Yahoo!!!"

Keep your petty grievances from our golden palace of happiness, peon!
Gaze upon my avatar and despair, for true happiness lies not in a golden palace but the patch of wilderness in which I spend my days, its many acres a haven of the natural world in the midst of an island of concrete and steel. With joy do birds of many colors greet me as I walk within their midst, and eagerly do the sea lions roar their hellos as the sun peeks over the horizon.
Jack2009-03-17 01:57:24
Fool! As if I desirest the base comforts of the wilderness! A grander home do I seek -- palaces perched upon lofty mountain peaks, triumphs borne not of tawdry nature but of man, man, the greatest beast of all! Elevated is he above the simple birds and sea lions, whose bass profundo is so much air and sound, signifying naught for all its fury.

It is you who should be called the fool, for in finding yourself amidst the highest peaks you admire not what nature hath wrought of its own power but merely what man has built to imitate nature's grandeur! In holding man as the greatest of all you deafen yourself to what the tiger may tell you, and blind yourself to the beauty of the snow leopard. Willfully do you ignore the sleek penguin and the clever monkey. Despair indeed, for you are incapable of understanding why the crane dances!
