More player driven events please!
(And I liked the event a lot actually. It lead to the Forest vs City war I've wanted for like ever! )

Yes, I'm also quite thankful to the admin for this event. Honestly, I was getting bored to the point of not wanting to do anything at all, events help shake things up and keep it interesting. And despite all the naysayers, when you put effort into an event, it actually can be -fun-. Which is why I love being involved in them so much.

You don't have to be part of a commune in this event to be appreciative of all the hard work and coding that went into this event. This event probably took well over a month to code, after all.

I'd still be raving even if we got crapped on, like we were fully expecting and still eagerly anticipating. As I said, I love participating in events and I know some others do too. Some of us don't look at us not getting what we wanted exactly as "omg why do they hate us.". Some of us go "Omg, something interesting to partake in and experience.".
Unknown2009-05-04 17:20:50
Noola is still Mag, as far as I can tell, and she's raving. (Then again, she's Noola.)
Guild activity is, for me, the only interesting thing this whole event has spawned. Maybe given time, Celest will have some more discussion about this IG, but as of right now, only Narsrim is publicly expressing RAWRRAGE and the rest of us seem resigned to (and not altogether happy about) the whole event.
EDIT: OOCly, I'm not mad at the admins or anything. I can't imagine how much time and effort was put into this event, from conceptualizing it to coding it (I have difficulty coding simple triggers for Nexus, so my appreciation of the knowledge and work that goes into coding is immense).

Noola (main Noola) hasn't been active in a loooong time.

This is really all that needs to be said.

Yea, I'll wait a week until this is over. I'm pretty most of Celest is done with this as I can already tell by reading the forums, the posts in game, and the general outcry on CT.
But to the communes: they did a good job, they did what they needed to win. It's sad that the leadership didn't tell the city ANYTHING, so we could prepare. Narsrim hit it on the nail.

I...am unenemied...from Magnagora. I've been enemied since beta.
Unknown2009-05-04 17:25:43
I'm actually hoping Narsrim will stop for a while so we can lose already, then have our nuclear fallout with the Star Council afterwards.
EDIT: It's temporary, Malicia, and you know it.

Yeah, I don't play that character anymore.
But still. Even when I did play Noola, I wanted a City vs Forest war with all the coolness of enemies banding together to fight common foes for some higher reason. This is just lovely IMO. I seriously think the City players are really going about things the wrong way. From what I've read, the Forest players went in together, expecting to lose, and basically just jumped in with both feet; they formed their alliance, they started their quest, they did their thing even though they didn't think it'd work. And so they won! Have the Cities even tried? Or have they balked at the idea of having to be at all flexible or trying against the odds and so aren't trying at all?
Winning when you expect to lose usually makes people rave. Getting new and interesting outcomes to things makes me rave. Forests teamed up against cities is just cool, IMO, and it's not my fault the cities can't find the fun. I'm not gonna feel guilty about it.

All the ducks are really falling into place, eh? Don't forget to pave the ham in alabaster or you might spill our wedding and forget the flavor. What I am curious of, is how exactly the cities intend to rile up enough whoozlefish for voluptuous mushroom action without staining the fleece. Communes definitely have the better hand sanitizer here.
Rave for Cylus. That is all.

Novice zscript/coding can be quite fun, when you have an understanding of your resources, in that you have the privilege of designing and breathing life into something.

Sorry Greleag, but until you get unenemied to Celestia, you're staying enemy to Celestines.

I wonder if that means that Serenwilde and the MDs will be unenemying me. Hmm.

I did get unenemied to Mag for a minute during this event. But I do have to admit it was strange to have a weakening and seeing Sidd/Celina and a few other gloms on the nexus and not a free-for-all killing spree in progress.
