This chair is awesome. But it reminds me of Merian Reiha O_o;

Reiha was naive and energetic once? dazed.gif

bet 50000 gold on red

The ball finally settles down on 3 (black).
Suklub, a roulette spinner exclaims to you, "We have a winner! You've won 1750000 gold!" He returns the stakes for your winning bets, and hands you your winnings.

I lived my dream of the single digit bet.

You bet on red, but hit on 3 black?
Gero2009-07-09 11:24:44
I was just putting that in I bet on 3 and won, after losing like 4 times. Final bet it landed on 3 and I made 1.7 million off my bet.

Hehe, thank you, glad someone read it and enjoyed it.

I've only read Aramel's so far, and it was great. I read them during my compile times at work, so I'll eventually get through all of them.

Thank you!

And yeah, I felt bad for them too. sad.gif

It's a good, but awful story. Makes me sad to think of how hard that would be on them.

Though the whole 15,000 years of war thing kind of seems out of place. I think after 15K years either you'd run out of power to keel people with, or somebody would win.

Wasn't necessarily a 15k year war. I just wanted it to be extremely far in the future so liberties could be taken with technology and certain changes that wouldn't happen in a few hundred years.

I got the twist half-right: I figured that they had come all the way around (even today, on prime, you can sail so far west in aetherspace you come back around from the east, so aetherspace is circular) and attacked the First World (and then dramatic irony required that it was Celest they'd attacked, and I was wondering if it'd turn out to be Magnagora instead, as that would have also been an irony, just a very different one).

As always, Aramel's made me cry. She is a damned fine writer, but she's at her best when she's trying to make me cry.

You got credits for voting? What?

Edit: Oh, it's for those obnoxious new messages. When they were the same color as everything else they just flew by like they weren't even there.

QUOTE
Tenebrous whorls and eddies shift across this hyena's bowed form, ceaseless and mesmerising in their movements. They drip and bleed into the ground and split from the coarse fur in smoky wisps, as if the beast was wrought from the shadows themselves. He measures nine hands at the shoulder and cuts an unwieldy frame, his back hunched and sloping to accommodate the mismatched height of his legs. His features are repulsive, with saliva dribbling from between yellowed fangs, a blunt muzzle flecked with dried blood, and eyes of a sickly hue alight with wicked mirth. He is called 'Kivuli.'
A shadowfiend hyena has an air of extreme strength.
He weighs about 78 pounds.
His feedbag is nearly full and he is looking quite nourished.
He is loyal to Druidess Ried Nimaet.
A shadowfiend hyena is holding:
Nothing.

YESSSS.
