Of it makes you feel any better, if I remember correctly, it gets harder to do every time it's completed. I believe the required numbers go up exponentially or something, as per the announce post four and a half some years ago. So just think, the next person who does it is going to have an even harder time!
So, someday it just stops working and Hallifax poofs into existance, right?

Or people stop doing the quest for it takes to much...
this makes me sad that I probably never get to be able to do it...

If a group worked on it though...

And yes, I remembered the whole thing about the quest getting harder and harder to do each time. Hence why I wasn't surprised it took me weeks of working on it 2-3 hours a day sometimes to get it done. Seeing as last time, two of us were working on it, and the other person got it done before me

And yet the rewards don't get better, do they?

Eventually you have to give us our city!

Actually, I think that's more likely to incite riots of murderous rage than provide comfort. *nodnod*

To : Everyone
Subj: Current Event
The Starhopper and Aetherplex are now currently safe zones to prevent
death traps being set up for people traveling to claim dingbats for
their toys. While I really don't want to be a nanny overseeing these
sorts of things, I would like to say that this is meant to be a
relatively lighthearted event for everyone to enjoy. Thus, I will simply
appeal to your better natures to try and not let the event devolve into
an excuse to metagame or grief wherever and whenever possible. Have fun,
be competitive, occasionally fight and scrap, but, as you surely must be
aware, there are lines that can be crossed that would ruin the event for
everyone.

It's fun being flung from your location to some random rock and then married off to people Eventru hates most, is it not? Good times.
Joli2009-07-24 08:33:53
Good times. Though coming back and explaining all that mess to our respective boyfriends/fiances/husbands/whatevers was kind of annoying.
It doesn't help my case any either that Munsia has been advertising my lust for shiny bunny babies at the pool.

Oh yes, Munsia says all kinds of things that don't help Fania find a husband.
Rave: Fania didn't have to explain nothing to nobody. Sometimes it's good not to have boyfriends/fiances/husbands/whatevers

I totally blame Lorina and myself. We usually start things when we get together. Earlier that day we had a discussion over the guild aether and afterwards Elodres wanted to title me "Mistress of Discipline".

Yes, I wish Joli had been there whenever whoever it was was talking about wishing that the flower wasn't in the way.. That was really one of those "OH MY GOD, and people say -I'm- bad!" moments. The worst thing I've ever done in character was give a Divine a honeycake with lust or whatever that affliction is. That's no where near as bad as being all like, "Hey, I wanna see your

Reminds me of the time when Raflein and Arin were hitting on Lady Isune in the Dekoven manse.
I luff Eventru, because he flings me across the basin to inescapable locations. Getting set up by Eventru sucks, though. First one attacked Fania, and the second use to kill Fania all the time. Either way it's worth the giggles.

Yeah, being flung around is just fun and I was very very surprised. I actually kind of jumped IRL, but I do that a lot.

Wait, what?
@ Joli: there's nothing wrong with wanting to see a man's flower. At least for women like Fania and myself. (But you're too young, Joli, shame on you.)
