The colour is just a wee bit distracting, but it's pretty simple in concept-- rooms along the even plane connect to the center by east/west/north/south, the diagonal ones connect diagonally. Just walk to the colour you want to get to the sphere you want, and head to the center.
Melds on this will be super-fun.
Neat! It looks nothing like my map but if it works for you, it works!

My Renny is back (or so he says). I've missed him so much and couldn't be happier. Please, please, PLEASE stay.

You cup your hands before you and a small roiling cloud forms between your outstretched fingers. Thunder booms and small jagged bolts of lightning flash within the cloud. You hold the small storm aloft and loud cracks of lightning shoot up from the cloud. As you force your hands closed, the cloud contracts into a grey sphere.

Summoning a thunderbird egg.

The thunderbird is as large as a giant eagle, with head feathers that spread
around his neck like a mane and tail feathers that flare out behind him. His
wingspan that is twice as long as the length of his body, the feathers of which
are brown and surrounded by lightning. With each beat of his wings, the sound of
a small thunderclap echoes around him. He preens and cleans his feather with a
long curved beak. He is called 'Nimbus.'

Shifting and flickering, the air surrounding the young phoenix is infused with an intense heat, surrounding him like an aura barely visible to sight yet appearing all the more tangible. His plumage is composed of multicoloured feathers. A faint dusting of gold covers each wing, causing them to shine and glimmer. His eyes are round and small, glowing as if burning from within while his beak is long and narrow and a deep coal-black in colour. Tiny russet flames dance across the phoenix's plumage every so often, making him a magnificent creature of light, heat and vivid colour. He is called 'Soltharius.'

You shock the ghost of Lady Irminka Paavik with tales of terror bestowed on villages who don't follow Magnagora.
The ghost of Lady Irminka Paavik slaps her knee and declares that, by the gods, the Village of Paavik should follow the Righteous Principality of Magnagora after all!
Shouts rise up from the Village of Paavik, as its denizens loudly pledge themselves to the Righteous Principality of Magnagora.

Oh how I miss scent as well...but I don't have 150 dbs to buy a nose, then again I'm not too fond of dingbats in general...

Dingbats would be great if they stuck to things that have no combat-wise effect on the game.
When you throw in combat oriented abilities as DB Awards....nyeh, it's iffy.
