Teehee, the shadow hit and killed him before the meteor did. Nice.

The deathsight says the meteor killed him though.

The meteor probably does more than one damage type, triggering the shadow on the first one and then failing on a subsequent one.

I miss throwing them.

I think it's a case of default messages firing off. That's how it appears when the meteor does fail. That's also how it appears should the target die before the meteor hits. (It's not really a typo, but it could be on the grounds of it not making any sense :supernina:)

Wow, this thread's been going on since back before I quit playing for a year and a half. o.O

I gotta say, my return to Lusternia has actually been pretty fantastic. ^^ I definitely don't feel as stressed as I did back then, IRL or in-game, so that helps a lot. And it was really awesome to have so many people going, "OMG IT'S YOU SQUEEEE!" ... which is paraphrased, but basically amounts to the welcome back messages I've gotten.

Definitely going better than that time I tried to go back to Achaea. That was a mistake I won't ever make again. ><

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I got level 80 the other day! So thrilled about that, considering the highest I ever got on any other IRE game was only 79!

Huge, huge rave to the admin for the new achievements and free credits lately. The achievements just released gave me just enough lessons to trans Wicca, and put me just shy of 100 lessons from transing my tertiary. At long last, I'll have my guild skills done.

These new achievements. I woke up an old alt and got an extra 175 lessons for merely checking things. Estarra is pretty awesomesauce.

Flying to Mucklemarsh to bottledowns, then to the Facility, then overshooting west to Dramube, then sailing back southeast to Mucklemarsh, with people on board, and not crashing!

The hilarious conversation Nejii was having with Omniscience and Broadcast was pretty win.

Serious rave to the Admins - the free lessons are nice.

So... since we have free lessons now, how about them guilds to spend these lessons on? *nudge*
