Kephera are the best (perhaps Illithoid, though I've never tried them myself). Illithoid are underneath the Illwater Lake. Monks in Tosha are great, but that place is pretty popular, and you're lucky if you can get them all before anybody else shows up, or even find them uninfluenced. Some people like Clarramore, and some like Arthar'rt. Keph in the UV are my personal favorite. Excellent XP, and hopping from rift to rift, makes it nigh endless.

Squishy Furrikin + angry Kephera = dead skunk, and no one wants to smell that.

I'll see what I can do though. Should probably try to fix that whole enemied thing just so that I don't get squished as bad. >.>

Aren't kephera weaker than guards though? They're definitely not stronger, how are they worth more?

Who knows? They just are.

I don't think they're "weaker" really. The keph soldiers are brave though, which makes it easier to empower them, is all. Now the hive Queens and Kings are -fantastic- XP if you have what it takes to influence them.
Sylphas2010-05-26 03:51:01
Weaker levelwise. Guards con "crushing", pretty sure kephera are "extraordinarily".

This is way common. Orc archers and sabretooth cats are roughly the same xp, but three cats in a stack can be trouble for a low con race, but you could run around kiting every single orc in the ruins into one totally unnecessary flurry of mobspam and not be much worse off. Always check the xp you gain.

I think...that I absolutely adore the Crow doll. Pity the Japhiel doll is borked to all heck, but Crow more than makes up for the lack.

Arix2010-05-26 03:57:20
Is there a Hart doll?
Xiel2010-05-26 04:02:03
Not yet, no, but if one shows up, I'll probably get one still. I wish the leprechaun doll interacted with some of the others, but since it's some extraneous coding, I'll probably just make up an Ideas thread for some emotes I'd think would be awesome to add in case they'd ever want to...yessss.

Damn admins and their pro-Glom bias.

Re: influencing spots
Kephera hives (charity) or illithoid prison (weaken), Tosha (charity), Wydyr fae (charity), Caoimhe elfen (charity), guards (empower), Daughters/Ladies/Angels/Demons (empower). Circle and triumph.

I recently participated in a large kephera-bashing rampage, and am now enemied to kephera... so aside from the fact that the Undervault is hazardous for me to begin with, I'm not sure if they'll attack me on sight, or what.
Felicia is much better at influencing than bashing, though, so I'm definitely interested in branching out (not least because the guards are often tapped out by someone else).

With the exception of the sentries most kephera won't be aggressive, but if you're ganked in a hive it's enemy territory so make sure you step outside if you need to die.
You might also close some doors down with respect to questing but I'm not positive about that. Everyone in Glomdoring hates kephera anyways so you're in good company.

A super fun wedding for Leta and Shedrin, even if they completely screwed EVERYTHING UP. It's fun to be super panic in the background but super happy in the foreground
EDIT: CRISIS AVERTED! Shedrin is now an official Skyplume!

The true favour from the fates and the one I already had from Viravain put me over the top to get beast heal in beastmastery, which allowed me to test and refine some stuff so Valonah can now use her beast to help her with healing her ego while influencing. Woo!

Won't you lose the ability to use that ability once the favors wear off and your skill level drops back down? Or have I misunderstood the way that works?
