When I looked at mine, I found a character I forgot I ever had too! laugh.gif

I suddenly picture you hiding money in your house and forgetting about it. Like a squirrel hiding acorns then getting excited when it finds them.

I've done that! laugh.gif

Then, I'm all like, "WTF? Twenty bucks! Heck yeah! party.gif" laugh.gif

Pectus, for being a doll.
Lawliet2010-06-10 22:07:42
And I found out that Lawliet is actually permenant, despite me not buying credits ever ever, any other ways to become permenant?

Some number of hours played.

I believe they've said something like 50; I know it hasn't always been that way since we've had big-name suicides in the past (and 50 seems awfully small), but whatever.

V. About Registering and Inactivity
-----------------------------------
Adventurers may be erased after a period of inactivity which varies from a few
days to a few months. The more play time you have, the longer we wait before
counting you as inactive and removing your character.
Unregistered adventurers may be erased after only a single day of inactivity.

Registered adventurers with only a few minutes of play may still be removed for
inactivity after one to two days.

After a few hours or so of play time, adventurers may last as long as 1-2 weeks
without risk of removal for inactivity.

Adventurers may be inactive somewhat longer, even as long as a month, once play
time is more on the order of twenty to forty hours.

Doesn't say they're made permanent, though.

What about winning bardics or being a guide or things like that?
Kante2010-06-10 23:05:18
Estarra has stated before that if you play (x) number of hours, your character will be made permanent.

That's cool. All I could find in writing, though, was that little entry.

Well I have over 6000 hours so... Yeah I'll asume I have that.

There's permanent in the sense that you won't be deleted by the daily purge, and then there's permanent in the sense that you cannot commit suicide. For the latter, you need some sort of actual credit purchase on your character.

A rather uphill battle.. but we pulled it out. I'm glad you had fun, most of it was annoying to me though.

I enjoyed watching deathsense go from "Mag death, Mag death, Mag death... more Mag death... Celestian dying to Celestian? ... okay, Mag death..." to "WOOT, we're kicking Celestian arse! ... ohai Solanis! More Celestian deaths, yey!"

I'm surprised we won.

I both had fun, and was annoyed. I was glad to be done with it, though.

Another rave: Haiden for setting Shia and Tyngh back up, and for telling me the kind of personality Tyngh has. The big deal about the personality thing is because I apparently play Tyngh how I've always wanted to roleplay.
