I think it'd be a good thing if we took more initiative to making things happen without them. But that's so hard with the conflict as it is, when you're the puppy everyone else kicks, because everyone's too exhausted and dispirited, and because if you did manage to plan something it'd almost certainly get interrupted.

I've only ever figured out about half (maybe more, but how would I know?) of the Xion quest. It doesn't help that there are no real mobs to talk to there. I don't get much out of the crystals themselves, either...

I chuckled about as much as I do at those movies where people get kicked in the crotch for a half hour. Except this is the kind where they drag everyone from all the other theaters in the multiplex and force them to watch that one instead of the one they came to see. Yeah, it's an epic achievement.
