I'd like to think that I have the writing ability necessary to perform such a task. My only concern is being called out on making stuff up or whatever. I think, regarding what I told the Conclave, that I might be able to do pretty well with anatomy and physiology type things.

I wrote a book on the earth element and the taint once, and I was totally making things up. Including this explanation I made up about how the reason that Estarra couldn't just get rid of the Soulless was because the taint was tied irrevocably with the element of Earth, so if the Soulless were removed from existence, then that would remove the taint which would remove the element of Earth and then reality would fall apart.

Now, when the book was submitted for Prestige, the Divine Scholar called me out on being wrong about all the Soulless having anything to do with taint - cause it's exclusive to Kethuru. I didn't realize that at the time I wrote the book though. Course, the book still won Prestige, even with that one wrong detail.

Anyway, my point is, sure, sometimes you'll be wrong making up science facts. But hey, the worst that'll happen is that someone'll say, "You're wrong about this." Then, you can either write something else correcting yourself, or be that crazy eccentric who keeps harping on the incorrect fact and trying to convince everyone it's true. Like folks who really think the earth is hollow and won't be convinced otherwise. laugh.gif

No, I wrote it with the idea that ALL Soulless generate taint. But afterwards was told it's only Kethuru that does.

The Divine Scholar who commented on my book while it was up for Prestige.

Published as a scholarly book on 24th of Roarkian, 189 CE (1st edition) by The Halls of the Void.
Access Level: Public
There are 1/1 copies available for checkout.
It will cost 0 gold to checkout this book.
It is stored at the annex: The Necropolis Library Atrium
Word Count: 2881 (weighted: 12)
This book contains the following subjects:
SCH_MAG ELEMENTS ESSAY EARTH TAINT
Comment by a Divine Scholar:
Well written and solidly argued. There is one inaccuracy: there
is no evidence that the taint is a quality inherent to the class of
soulless gods - on the contrary it seems to be a quality of Almighty
Kethuru alone.

This book is a winning prestige publication.

Kaia2010-06-27 05:59:13
kills kills kills kills kills. (This never happens.)
Lothringen2010-06-27 06:09:12
That was a fun fight.

(Until I disconnected and couldn't get back on.)
Shiri2010-06-27 06:09:31
Suspicious. I guess that's their RP thing going on or something.
Shulamit2010-06-27 08:01:32
Trans harmonics.

Now, to wait till we have a guild leadership, so I can use it. *hum*

Having read the Transmology scrolls on Xiel's site, I'm absolutely in love with the Illuminati's flavor. Harmonics was kind of obvious, but Transmology is just awesome.

Transmology is actually making me consider making Lucan an Illuminati, even though his RP's always been "RAWR WARRIOR SMASH!"

Can't wait to get past novicehood in the Institute on Xaakin. happy.gif

You should be able to harvest now. You just need to speak with the Conclave - and your founders should be able to Harvest, too, so they can share!
