This crown has been shaped from a single arc of flawless crystal,
mathematical in its parabolic perfection. Rather than a full circle, it
forms a graceful arch with ends nearly touching, arching outward from a
fine, extruded tip and thickening as it reaches its outer limit before
falling back to an identical termination mere inches from where it
began. The consummate clarity of the crystal refracts ambient light and
sends it back tenfold, glittering brightly in even dim light due to some
clever trick of its shape. Wafer-thin slices of gemstone have been
embedded into the crown at intervals, forming subtle fractal patterns
which themselves colour the dazzling display with touches of verdant
emerald, amaranthine amethyst, and sunny beryl. Other than these, no
crack or flaw blemishes the surface of the crystal or spoils the distant
beauty of its form.
