I'm curious as to whether or not you came up with all that on your own, or if it's derived somewhat from real-life theory. Either way, it was pretty nice.

The concept of time as a fractal tree based upon probabilities comes partially from real-life theory, or at least the basic idea does. Everything else is mine, either originally or formed from the incestuous slurry that is the sum of everything I've ever read or watched. Especially the idea of event-as-bottleneck, which I came up with as an explanation for why events seem to be so constrained in their outcomes.
