construct 6078
You lay out your materials and construct a magnificent weeping amaranth
chandelier.
This sizable chandelier has been crafted to resemble the magnificent
Weeping Amaranth of the Demon Lady Nifilhema. In lieu of petals, a great
number of rubies has been hung down on silver chains that interconnect
into a partially hidden web of polished metal that lends them their
shape. To further the depth of the image, large clusters of diamonds
decorate the cores of the gems. Diaphanous silver chains drop down from
the amaranth carrying miniscule teardrop-shaped bloodstones akin to
droplets of blood. In the very centre of the chandelier is a small
clearing which holds a faintly glowing orb surrounded by four small
golden runic symbols of high magic origin. Hidden above the whole
construction is a place for small candles, each within a globe of red
glass that tints the emitted light.
It has 600 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 65 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Sohei Shaddus Mes'ard.

My first chandelier. Nariah for designing it.

Lets give credit where it is due. Endantee designed this one for a guild contest, I just fixed up the design to conform to designing rules and got it submitted!
You missed out the best part, the dropped desc!
Rubescent lambency emits from amidsts crimson petals of the weeping amaranth suspended from a magnificient gemwork chandelier.

The charites for accepting my shield design 100% without rejection, and Tervic for making it for me.
Looking at this hefty iron shield head-on, it appears to have a smooth
surface, black as the night sky and speckled with stars. However, when
observed at an angle this shield offers a more gruesome scene: the
illusion of the starry sky is revealed to be light reflecting off the
tips of viciously sharp spikes.
It has 158 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 300 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Tervic Sijamrak.

That is a really cool shield design, I love it! I tried to make instruments "of the night". One got accepted and the other was botched because the charitie at the time decided it was too literal or whatever. it made me sad, but glad to see this one got accepted!

Standing at approximately twenty centimeters tall, Tricksy is a fine example of the vulpes niveucornus. Pure and unstained by day to day happenings, her coat is a perpetual white. Her large, ovoid eyes are a shimmering cerulean, filled with life and alertness. A swirling mother of pearl horn sprouts from her forehead, a staple of her kind. Comically large ears adorn her small head, drooping and hanging down to the floor. Her puffy, soft tail moves about with her mood.
Tricksy, the horned snow fox appears to lack strength.
She weighs about 180 pounds.
Her feedbag is nearly full and she is looking quite nourished.
She is loyal to Autumnal Spinner Myrkr Inseira.
You cannot see what Tricksy, the horned snow fox is holding.

awesome emo dream
QUOTE
You shriek in agony and pain, and know your forest shrieks with you. You sob tears of shadows, and the stars themselves dim before your dark wrath, your sadness, your loss. You draw close, and you know the shadows that writhe about the forest floor are your own, as all shadows are. Yet nothing of your power, nothing of your beauty, matches your emotion - your rage, your anger, your pain. You pull into your arms the rotting and scabrous body of an elfen crone, her tortured form lifeless and empty. A piercing, hollow emptiness stares up from within the half-rent hood, gazing out of once living eyes.

a twilit garland brooch bearing sword and flail
Platinum has been artfully shaped and painstakingly detailed into a laurel wreath that comprises the base of this brooch. The underside is smooth and flat with a straight pin for affixing upon clothes, while the top has been rendered into a variety of leaves, some hemlock, rowan, and blackthorn, others birch, hornbeam, and oak. The leaves are not separated by type but intermingle throughout the display. The entire garland has been dyed a rich, deep purple with faint traces of blue, pink, and orange, the blending colours evocative of twilight. Welded to the top of the wreath and crossed over each other are a rapier and flail wrought from pure silver. The blade is lightly pockmarked with a jagged edge and is arranged with hilt at the lower right corner of the brooch and its tip at the upper left. The flail lies atop it in the opposite direction, the classic image of its handle and chain offset by the ball, which has been fashioned into a blossoming rose.

The Supernal raid.
I think I must have had to pray like ten times, but it was worth it.
And the time that I was stuck in a pit, and Malicia tried to kill me. I kept rebounding and parrying, and Malicia got tired of trying to kill me, so she just walked away. CLASSIC.
But gods, do I need conglute.

That is why that rant about pits being overpowered a month or so back was hilarious.
Aison2008-12-30 06:13:23
It wasn't really pits, it was the choke+meld.
Unknown2008-12-30 06:27:36
well maybe, but that would be a silly thing to especially rave about. 'I was in choke and a friendly meld and somebody gave up on killing me!'.
I don't really know what happened but if it was just Malicia vs Shaddus, a pit is not all that great for a warrior. Yeah, he can't get out of the room as easily which is cool, but he no longer has to worry about defending his legs and gut, completely avoiding knockdown, pinleg, tendons, whatever. Stance upper and parry head and you're pretty much harder to kill than you would be outside of a pit. She probably put pits down with the assumption it'd be several people blasting/hitting whoever fell in. Or just to separate groups
