Yes, but doesn't mean I have the energy for an essay when I'm still trying to fix 52 rooms in my manse. It's nothing personal, but while I thought I'd enjoy the RP of being a closet follower of Viravain, just not going to work out. And I can enjoy writing, but who says it has to be in the form of an essay?

Honestly. When I look at the Raves thread and see people laughing/enjoying themselves over my jovial behaviour, it really does make my day. To think, someone enjoyed interacting with me. I don't think you really understand the strange enjoyment one gets of being an admin and the player interaction which results until you've been in it.

Never really thought I'd enjoy it this much, or that you'd all enjoy my occasional blips of silliness.

It's fun to take something and just run with it. There are people who are displeased by this little panty episode. Me? Running around, flashing people panties, I'm up 100 gold for it all, and I'm reporting it as an astounding success and an example to Magnagorians everywhere as how to turn something embarassing and a defeat into a victory.

Really, the planned things are okay, but it's the spontanious little things that stand out because it's not scripted. It's not "Okay, I have to do this now, so like it or else." It's just...fun. We got a hamsterhunt, I got a set of panties and a perfect excuse to run around the Basin flashing people, and only the people who are upset about all this are those grumbling about the Divine's actions. Yes, the death on Astral hit my experience fairly hard, but it was fun, so it was worth it.

The scripted things sometimes seem forced, where the on the spot stuff really is from the Divine in question. It's not handed down, it's not ordered, it's just there and from the person behind it. This was far more than just a "Quiet *zap*" deal, it was fun.

Those who are complaining about breaking of roleplay...eh, who cares? It was fun. Jigan is only serious when you get really, really into what he's saying. Otherwise, you're suppose to sit back and laugh at him. The whole bit about the duck? Celestian inside joke. Goes deeper, how does the city defend itself from something that does not exist, yet walks amoung them? Deeper: Are we really prepared for things we don't see? Deeper: How do we know until the duck walks amoungst us?

Eventru read it right and played around. What, can't he have a little fun?

I have to say that as almost any other character I've played, Eventru has actually been really awesome. He's not half bad.

Rave: All those Mags coming and killing Celest's guards. I come into the realm and hear that they're all on Celestia and basically all of our guards are dead and I just started laughing, I don't know why. I guess I found it funny because we had like eight citizens online so there really wasn't anything we could do about it.

And then they tried coming through the southwest gate, which was humorous.

Should I be raving about this? Doubt it.

In the same vein with Abethor, a rave that maybe shouldn't be a rave...

Surviving as long as I did when Thoros and Romero took a break from guard-bashing (or ran out of guards to bash?) to visit me on Astral. Yes, all I did was cure and run, but I'm happy to see things in my curing working that haven't before, like aeon/ecto/burstorgans. Usually I'd have lasted about 10 seconds against the pair of you.

Another Rave which is....dying...?
Romero jumps me again, except I saw him coming this time in the Bay, so I shielded and whatnot. He still kills me, but he actually said thanks to me for actually trying to fight back. I don't know if it was sarcastic or not, but it just made me feel kinda 'appreciated' I guess. Like I'm not just 'another guy to kill'.

So, a long time ago I had an Ur'Guard alt that didn't last too long, but I thought he was amazingly fun.

Yes, it is a text game which means we all play for fun. Essays are totally not fun!

Another rave (I'm just filled with them today) -

People who say/do random things while in battle. For example, the CHAOTIC emote or the TENTACLES emote...just because they can.

That happened to me one time! I logged in and heard screaming from the Serenwilde. Turns out Thoros was soloing all of Serenwilde, which, at the time, was me, a friend, and a an almost-novice (or maybe a novice). 3 weak Seren vs. one Thoros. He was having a great time slaughtering every denizen around, and we'd gather up, run in, take a few shots, and die. We did this a bunch of times and lost very little because of home conglut. Finally he got bored and left, and all of a sudden the three of us found ourselves Truefavoured by Terentia for our hopeless defense of our home. So all in all, it turned out great!

Why not rave? When there's not much you can do about something except enjoy the show and make pointed IC comments about their bravery and maggotyness you might as well just enjoy yourself!
