I've gotten behind by about 3k due to being ill, but wrote another 2k or so yesterday which made me feel better about it. I hit a block in the plot where my protagonists had to leave their home town to go on the stereotypical fantasy novel big quest, and making them leave was a pain.

Hee I'm still writing the part where mine are just about to head into a world of fantasy. Though it was fun to just throw in a team of mature trained magic wielding fighters who referred to the stunned teens as father or mother... then I killed them off.

There are a certain few of you who should be very very ashamed of yourselves. GET WRITING! whip.gif

That's easy for you to say - you're 31k in!

I am hoping to get to 20k tonight and be back on track. It's much easier to keep up when you're not behind, being behind just drags you down mentally.

I'm slacking, but it's happy slacking. Nothing is so great as having a social life and getting all your homework done on time. laugh.gif

Um, wow. I was just randomly reminded of the horror novel I wanted to write when I was younger.

...Maybe I can actually write now! I've been lacking anything resembling a plot, or characters, or even a general concept, but I might be able to work with this.

Woot! 35k! Yay for family being stuck in traffic!

Blarrrgh. I just wrote myself into a spot that is going to be a censor.gif to write my way out of. I thought I was near the end of the second Act of my story, which would have taken me to 50k. And then my third act would get me to about 75k and end the book. Now I've put myself into a position where the second Act might almost double in length and cause me much frustration in making a reporter doing some low-grade investigation and espionage come off as believable while still having him reach the goal he needs to reach.

Daaaamn it.

Ugh, As I have a high school setting during bits I keep having to remember which characters have study periods at the same times leading to moments of "ooh who's off who's off" *facepalm*

Depends on the day. Akira, Michael, Brooke and Meili all have the same period off while Jason has art.

I think it's tuesday when they have their free first and that's when Lynda has music at the same time.

Sketch up their timetables? Ours is on a two-week cycle, four periods to a day, two periods on Wednesdays followed by sport (which seniors don't do).

One of mine was five hour-long periods and like... four off per subject you dropped or did at TAFE/elsewhere also on a rotating cycle, the other was six 45 minute periods with the middle ones generally grouped into a double.

Michael has an IT class with his roll call teacher (who always seems to be smiling/winking at him), though none of the others are established in his class. (only Robyn could join it)

Meili, Akira and Brooke are in the same english class. Michael has english at the same time but separate class.

EDIT: OH also, Brooke takes drama and her roll call room is in the art block.
