Just wondering, since you can WARES BEAUTY and be shown all rings/bracelets/baubles/horses that have beauty enchantments, and you can RUB BEAUTY to rub a ring enchanted with beauty, would it be possible to let us BUY BEAUTY to buy the things we found with WARES, and, more to the point, would it be possible to let us RUB BEAUTY to rub enchantments on crowns/bracelets/wands/brooches/flowers/baubles?

Sounds like a bug, since you can do it with all other enchants.
Aerotan2008-10-26 12:08:36
You can do it with rings, as far as I'm aware, but both the bracelets fail when I try to rub them by name. And I don't think you can buy by enchantment name. Beauty was just an example.

I know that scrolls work, as in you can "read protection", and it will read protection.

EDIT: Are you using someone else's system?
Aerotan2008-10-27 03:32:45
Odd...I'm using Palisade, but it was set up to rub by name...
Unknown2008-10-27 14:38:07
Palisade was setup to allow you to use the name, but then it sends the ID. It was coded before the game allowed you to just use the names.
Estarra2008-10-28 21:22:10
You can bug this if you want but it's a pretty onerous coding assignment which a coder may or may not have the time or inclination to take on. (It's not something I'd give high priority.)
Gwylifar2008-10-29 01:30:08
Estarra, I think the upshot was that it isn't a bug in Lusternia, just a client-side problem. This already does work in Lusternia.
