Reagents have nothing to do with how a beast looks--it depends entirely on feed!

Even giving a beast zimoru over and over won't change the possible options a beast may have unless coupled with a dramatic change in diet. If you're looking for a dramatic change, a couple of fruits (for example) won't make much of a difference, you need to feed your beastie lots and lots of fruit!

This is my nightmare, named Drakoth, who has the same skincolour as Vena. I like her.

Easily matching any large stallion in size, the splotchy grey nightmare stands with smoke curling out of her nostrils, which constantly flare with impatience. Her eyes are eerie green with a pallid glow. Her mane and tail are pale grey, like a stormy dusk. Most remarkable of all are her hooves which never touch the ground. Rather, she stands perpetually upon a bank of grey clouds that roils angrily beneath her. With each stamp from iron-shod hooves, small sparks of lightning flash within the grey clouds. She is called 'Drakoth.'

This majestic animal stands twelve hands tall at her shoulders when upon all four paws, which are webbed for swift swimming. A coat of sleek, soft fur the colour of the midnight sky covers her streamlined form. The patch under her graceful neck resembles the colour of sandstone and bears the image of a dusky blue four-pointed star. Upon her face is a large black nose that twitches on occasion, sending her plethora of thin whiskers trembling. Beady eyes of a dark ebony hue peer inquisitively at her surroundings, and her muscular tail occasionally twitches in anticipation of events to come.

She weighs about 180 pounds.
Her feedbag is nearly full and she is looking quite nourished.
She is loyal to Tervic Sijamrak.

Almost all the beasts here are "appears to lack strength". However ponies are "crushingly strong". Why the huge disparity? Do ponies get weaker when they mature?

It relates to the health of the beast. Health increases with levels and body trains. Just coincidence that ponies seem to have more, I expect.

What you see on probe should relate to the beast's level. So a "crushingly strong" pony is probably around level 12 while "appears to lack strength" is just a couple of levels. It has nothing to do with their maturity or the type of beast.

I raised my horse on meat, fish, and a little bit of eggs. He has 200 body, 350 mind, and 40 spirit. He grew up off griefing and killing and I taught him the best I could and...

This hulking stallion is a strong, powerful creature, and his well-defined muscles gleam beneath a pearly white coat.
