No matter what I train or feed my beasties... I always end up in varying shades of brown *cry* I only have one neat one that's purple spotted and fat. I'm not sure how I feel about a fat pony that's spotty...

From what I've read in this thread, you need to feed your beast so many times (120?) before they start getting the non brown/grey appearances, with a vegetarian getting a 'pretty' appearance, and a carnivorous diet getting a 'fiercer' appearance.

Zimoru after feeding your beasts lots and lots, and eventually you'll have a spiffy beast!

Training also helps - it gets some of the rarer looks.

I don't think it does, unless there's been a new update.

Aww, I like frosty wings! BTW, before giving a beast zimoru, be certain your beast has been on whatever diet you are aiming for at least for a week.

Reagents have nothing to do with how a beast looks--it depends entirely on feed!

Even giving a beast zimoru over and over won't change the possible options a beast may have unless coupled with a dramatic change in diet. If you're looking for a dramatic change, a couple of fruits (for example) won't make much of a difference, you need to feed your beastie lots and lots of fruit!

A red and yellow phoenix perches here, his fiery plumage illuminating the area with
red fire.

Shifting and flickering, the air surrounding the phoenix is infused with an
intense heat, surrounding him like an aura barely visible to sight yet appearing
all the more tangible. His plumage is composed of multicoloured feathers,
starting with orange at the shaft and flaring out to red and yellow at the tips.
A faint dusting of gold covers each wing, causing them to shine and glimmer. His
eyes are round and small, but glowing with crimson flames, as if burning from
within while his beak is long and narrow and a deep coal-black in colour.
Burning red fire dance across the phoenix's plumage every so often, making him a
magnificent creature of light, heat and vivid colour. He is called 'Yakka.'

Not sure whats normal for a phoenix, but i've only seen plain red and a black one briefly at one point.
Either way, quite happy with a red & yellow. Fed a mix of meat and fruit.

You lead a large ebony dragon turtle with scarlet wings out of a stall of The Star Stables of New Celest.

The female dragon turtle is huge and the wide shell is patterned in shades of large ebony hexagons. Having an extremely short neck, the round head is protected by rows of sharp ridges, especially thick around the face, and she has scarlet wings. The legs have large claws, capable of tearing through the flesh of the largest sea beast. For all the trappings of ferocity, the dragon turtle is a majestic and noble creature, whose pale green eyes are filled with a deep wisdom. She is called 'Deserenity.'
A large ebony dragon turtle with scarlet wings looks to be crushingly strong.
She weighs about 1000 pounds.
Her feedbag is nearly full and she is looking quite nourished.
She is loyal to Sir Laranda Eli'Silar, Aspirant of the Aegis.

Good turtle! Mammoth and goat on the way!

A large eagle egg has finished its incubation at The Star Stables of New Celest.

Even though it is still young and growing, the size of this eagle puts it on par with the largest stallion. Soft golden feathers cover a splendid physique with a band of white feathers around the base of its tail, denoting its status as a youth. Already a formidable hunter, it searches the ground with dark eyes as its wings carry it aloft. She is called 'Drumsticks.'

You lead a hideous war goat with large curling horns out of a stall of The Star Stables of New Celest.

This hideous goat is a wary creature with a dirty, knotted fleece and large curling horns. Yellow eyes gleam above his protruding snout, and a thick beard hangs about his chin, flecked with foam and dripping drool. Snuffling consumptively, the goat chews down on the bit of the reins with his jaw line twitching. A worn leather saddle has been fitted securely beneath the goat's shoulders, and barbed stirrups dangle from it.

Okay, so once this baby matures, what should I train it in? I think this will likely be my final PVP beast.

I've got two beasts that are for bashing, really. The turtle in the end got mistrained so now she's more a mix of PVP and bashing, and the hippogriff is stictly a bashing beast, so I want a strictly combat eagle.

OK!!!!! Four newly matured beasts!!!!

You lead a golden haired mammoth with feathered wings out of a stall of The Star Stables of New Celest.

This mammoth shakes his golden haired coat, glancing about himself with intelligent eyes. Curving out from each side of his mouth are yellow tusks. The massive creature's feathered wings twitch and flap, perhaps cooling his prodigious elephantine body. He stomps and shuffles about here, grunting and snorting noisily.

My eagle:
Perched nearby, a giant feral eagle searches her surroundings with eyes of steel blue.

While slightly smaller than her male counterpart, this giant feral eagle still radiates an aura of majesty as she spreads her massive wings of black and gray feathers. Missing nothing, her eyes of steel blue constantly scan the surroundings with a piercing gaze that misses nothing. Her body still boasts an impressive physique and size, fully capable of matching her male counterpart in hunting down large prey such as moose and cows.

Gorgeous eyes, did not like that she was feral. Zimoru'd for:

May do a year or two of fruitfeed and see what the result would be. Thoughts?

Yeah, I wondered about that. Tried to look up "goneutral" thinking it was a type of coat, color, something......and couldn't find anything. I TYPO'ed it for clarification *scratches head*
