Out of curiosity, what are the intrinsics for Serpents and Hydras?
Lilian2012-02-22 01:39:38
Man, the only god for Lilian would be like Auseklis, and no one's EVER going to play a Seren god enough to merit getting beasts :/
Unknown2012-02-22 01:39:45
Hydras are spit poison, chameleon, influence weaken, and scaling.
Ixion2012-02-22 02:11:08
Hydra inherents are Chameleon, Influence Weaken, Scale, and Spit Poison.
Qistrel2012-02-22 08:44:02
If I have been toldthe right ones for serpent (swim, dive, heal health, cure spirit) then order beasts have 400 trains worth of inherents.

Okay, nobody talks about pegasi so I don't know what's usually in a pegasus description. I like how mine turned out, and that's sort of the bit that counts anyway, but what do you lot think? She's 100% veg-fed, except now that she's grown I really need her to start picking up the influencing slack.
a light brown pegasus with pearlescent grey wings
A light brown pegasus with pearlescent grey wings is here, eyeing her surroundings serenely.
Possessing a finer and stronger build than any mere horse, the proud and noble pegasus is a paragon of equine and avian creatures alike. Feather-soft, her light brown form shimmers in any light, celestial luminescence clinging to her as though eternal light is woven into her very form. Her mane and tail both fall in silken cascades, glittering in her own radiance, her hair cast back across the base of her pearlescent grey wings. This pegasus shifts her pearlescent grey wings, eyeing her surroundings serenely. Complementing her light brown appearance, her hooves hold a metallic luster and the keen intelligence of her eyes glows from within. She is called 'Ariosa.'
Also I'm terrified to even start touching zimoru, because it sounds hopelessly addicting..
o.O ... O.o
But what do I have to do to get a RAINBOW PEGASUS OMG that would rock.
Also. Pegasus = wings, which should = flight. How come mine doesn't know how to fly?

You have to have the skill in Beastmastery too, for it to be able to fly.

I got bored again.
I could do without the green lightning, but I quite like the rest!
Surrounded by black lightning, a bloodstone thunderbird spreads her two sets of iridescent butterfly wings here, amber eyes alight with a considerate intellect.
You administer a dose of zimoru reagent to your thunderbird. A golden glow surrounds her which shimmers and you watch in amazement as she transforms into a dark ruby thunderbird.

Not so much a "my beast is better" as an "I'll share some descriptions in the hopes others will too and inspire me to zimoru the living daylights out of this thing"
"basilisk14586" a pale basilisk with brown wings
Towering over the heads of many of the Basin's tallest mortal races and equally as fearsome, the pale basilisk hisses and spits. The beast is an unusual and confusing mixture of animals, covered in feathers and grey-green scales. Her body, torso and head are those of a massively oversized fowl, covered from the crest of its head to mid torso in muted grey feathers and fluffy down. Crowning the top of the creature's head, a red crest emerges from the centre of the beast's skull and rolls down the length of its spine, turning to sharp rows of knife-like scales at midback. Large, brown wings lay against the basilisk's lower half, covering the tops of two muscular and powerful legs that end in abnormally long talons. Wrapping between the two legs and winding its way up, a thick serpent's tail emerges from the beast's backside.

Well, at least the wings aren't vestigial anymore. Is anyone else getting more than two variables, maybe the scale or feather colours?
Also, the room description seems to be just, "Thick, coiling tail wound in and around itself, a terrifying basilisk hisses and spits."

"basilisk49962" a temperamental basilisk with blood red wings
Towering over the heads of many of the Basin's tallest mortal races and equally as fearsome, the temperamental basilisk spits dangerously. Only two variables? That's a bit disappointing. :(

Old news to most, but I am still super proud of my hippogriff :D
"a golden hippogriff with rainbow-feathered wings"
Massive rainbow feathered wings filling much of the space around her, a golden hippogriff stands here, motes of pink light winking in and out of existence around her.
Possessed of rare and unnatural animal mixtures, the noble hippogriff is a beast born from the breeding of chimaera and pegasus. Long forgotten and unseen in the Basin of Life, the hippogriff is a fearsome, yet beautiful sight to behold. A powerful equine frame builds the bulk of the hippogriff's muscular body. Lean legs stretch down into hooves from the beast's hindquarters, and massive, clawed feline paws make up the forelimbs. The hippogriff's head is distinctly horse-like in shape and size, though the mouth has been replaced by a hooked, gold beak. Feathers form a flowing gold mane that runs over the top of the creature's head then down the back of her neck and shoulders to cover a pair of powerfully built rainbow feathered wings that have grown from the shoulders. Long, flowing feathers replace the traditional tail of the hippogriff's equine heritage, coloured in various shades of gold. She is called 'Tsholofelo.'
