I made one to honours people: "hon *" was the pattern, "honors %1" was what it'd send. Worked fine.

It's nice, but too small for me.

My eyes are bad enough that I shouldn't be squinting to see a tiny box.

Much faster than Nexus though.

Well, this is pretty. The map feature looked pretty handy as well. I likely won't use it as I do have cmud, but I can see this as a viable option for people who can't afford to buy a client.

Nexus is resizeable...there is a small button in the right corner to make it a new window which would be resize able.

For some reason, each line of text is its own text box, which means you can't copy and paste chunks of text. I find that to be really hindering. Better to not allow to copy at all, then it have it that limited.


Anyone tested triggers or aliases yet to see if its viable for someone to go hunting with/ survive in group combat with?

Huh. I was able to copy/past three lines of text. I didn't really try for more though.

when I do "select all" it only picks up one line.

Also, I miss the text editor from nexus for news posts... should bring that back.

Ah, I didn't try select all. I drug and highlighted and then right clicked and copied and pasted into a notepad. I didn't keep it cause I was just tryin to see if copy/paste were possible.

Loading was pretty fast on my computer at home (Mac OSX Leopard) but not so fast on my work computer (Windows XP)... in fact it took about a minute to load. The game itself loaded just fine, on both computers. It's quite pretty, too! I'm glad it works on Firefox because I hated how Nexus didn't for Macs. Also, it scrolls!

However, the map feature doesn't work for me either - just a little person in a box. I'm also having the same problem that Daganev is having with dragging the mouse and highlighting to copy and paste. It's only letting me highlight one line of text at a time. Granted, I'm using Internet Explorer for it and haven't tried to highlight anything on Firefox yet.

Resizing nexus even a little bit always manages to lag me really badly for some reason.

How did you people not know this? I figured it out the First time I played the game. You've had *counts back* 4 years and no one has noticed yet?

Also, having to hit the refresh button to re-connect is a bit of a downer.

Do you use wrapwidth 0 on Nexus? If you do, whenever you resize it, I would imagine that it needs to resize everything in the buffer. If the buffer is really long... it can take a while.

(I used to have that issue on zMud when I had a buffer many, many times the size of the one I'm using now. Now I can't review 3-4 days of stuff, including combat. Ah well... it does help things move a bit more smoothly.)

Were you pasting into the client or into notepad? Mush and java have the same issue; trying to paste multiple lines into the input box doesn't always work if the text isn't formatted specifically to make it work. I imagine that the flash client would suffer the same issue.

Ah! I figured out the problem I was having with the blank map screen, but I'm reporting it with the rest of the things I've seen anyway (largely because it could be confusing, even if it's not a "bug.")

It stays blank until it's interacted with, which I didn't realize until I tried to get it out of the way.

I was just trying to copy from flash, and paste it into the forums here, to show the wierd thing tha happened, with the "you say, "I'm waiting to jump someone" line.
