This isnt actually a very long or thorough thread, its mostly to state a point and give a place for discussion on it.

Bards currently use their specs almost entirely for passives, other than the insta kill songs. Spiritsingers make acitve use of it with CairnLargo. Idea is to have some way to make the songs have an active use so combat doesnt come down to using music almost entirely (damage tends to be minorsixth and discordantchord which every bard has anyway).

Each guild would have their own way of doing it of course.

Spiritsingers are op, no reason the other guilds shouldn't be op too!

Most specs would. Sadly the admin didnt chooseto 'fix' that mistake so the Spiritsingers have to envoy the whole process of balancing.

I would actually like to see more synergy with secondary skills for city bards. Glamours and ecology mix really well with commune bard specialty skills, like well pretty much everything in ecology and passive eq disruption that they can stack with their own in glamours.

I don't know anything about cantors, but something in glamours that would give plague afflictions, one if blind, two if not. They wouldn't be hidden but would be effected by necroscream songs. It could be an illusion of a rotting corpse or something. It would benefit all bards and sync with Cacophony efforts to stack them.

Of course, the Cacophony doesn't have an envoy, so if any of the other envoys would be so kind to submit it, that would just be super!
