Can pixies and centaurs please not follow anyone but Serens? (same with the citizens in Celest and beggars in Magnagora)
It is currently too easy to go in and just steal these loyals, and then hold them/kill them elsewhere. It takes absolutely no effort.
Alternatively, if that's the direction the admin wish to go, please introduce similar mobs in Glomdoring.

I thought this might have been a reasonable suggestion until the last line.

She has a point. It would be a pain in the butt to raid prime glomdoring for shadows as part of a neferious plot to deshadowize them and make them into glowy little balls of sunlight and good cheer.
Rika2008-11-13 06:41:04
I really don't like the idea that you can just take them by handing them x or y. The suggestion to add them to Glom as well is just in case the admin don't want to do the first suggestion, and so it's actually plausible to do the same thing back for fair exchange and all that.
Astraea2008-11-13 06:41:24
Sorry if it was annoying, but I got to do this whole ritual shtick and make the colt pray to Mother Night and break its legs, mafia style. All in all, it was rather fulfilling. Cross my heart that next time, I'll just kill them.

It was annoying. I don't even mind if it was at the Ravenwood or something, but it's a bit lame when you're just in a place that no one other than you (ie Gloms) can get to. I just don't want to see this ever happening again.
Astraea2008-11-13 06:47:45
-shame-
Urazial2008-11-13 06:48:30
Also, can that waterfall in Serenwilde be made destroyable so we can kill it like Serenwilde is able to kill the Wyrdling?
Rika2008-11-13 06:49:44
Sure, I don't really mind. We'd just post an extreme number of guards there, anyway.
Gregori2008-11-13 07:00:55
There is a very good reason centaurs can be captured and there should be no reason to change that. Deal with it, you have it better off now than we did in the first months of it happening.
Aerotan2008-11-13 07:01:20
Incidentally, happen to get the log of that?

To be fair to Astraea, she wasn't thinking about keeping everyone out.
She was thinking of keeping the colt in, as she had even said. Also, it was done in the Ritual Chamber. Her reasons were purely RP for doing it, and I'm sure that if she hadn't been thinking of how great of an RP opportunity it was (and it was!), then she would have taken into consideration the location.
(PS: Astraea, post a log!)

yea you know what I don't want to see ever happen again, the wyrdling die. Or make serens waterfall killable. In the interest of being all even.

Yes, and I already said we'd just post an insane number of guards there like the Wyrdling has (probably even more).
Unknown2008-11-13 08:46:57
posting guards has nothing to do with the fact yours is immortal.
Rika2008-11-13 08:47:57
Yes.. if it is immortal then we wouldn't need guards. I thought you'd be able to assume that it would first be made into something killable for us to have to put guards there.
Unknown2008-11-13 08:48:57
Ah so you are saying you have a bigger advantage because you don't have to place guards there, and thus can place them elsewhere? I understand use those guards to defend your colts.
Rika2008-11-13 08:50:53
...No. I'm saying that it wouldn't be too bad to have our essence converter being a killable mob (comparable to the Wyrdling).
Unknown2008-11-13 11:01:21
Rika, stop arguing with krin.
Also, I think being able to 'steal' certain NPCs can be nice RP. I've brought Magnagoran beggars and Serenwilde colts to Glomdoring, to show them the 'better' and 'improved' state of the Glomdoring (in contrast to Magnagoran caste system and old Gloriana).
Still, I'd rather add similar 'steal-able' NPCs in Glomdoring to balance it out. Not that Glom needs another way to be bad at

Wait, what?? Make the waterfall killable?
What kind of stupidity is that? The waterfall isn't a guildhall... the mountain -behind- the waterfall is a guildhall. So yeah... you go right ahead and kill that waterfall. Which makes no sense in any sense of the term already.
