I have a sort-of-similar power myself, so I can say that Rika's power isn't too far fetched. Mine provides bonuses rather than not-bonuses, but it has other limitations.

Ok, scenario here:

Dugan attempts to separate himself from Thiden, so 'randomly' votes for Thiden on day one. Come day two, people as always decide to pressure somebody for not posting much (you want to go for lurkers, not somebody who doesn't post much, and you can't relaly lurk to much since it's only been less then a week with not much conversation). They pressure Thiden, who makes one post afterwards (a total of four posts), then choose to pressure the next person who has made one more post then that person, and the original people who voted Thiden bandwagon immediately to me. (In the space of three minutes).

Do you really want to do this Dugan? We can quote the entire thread, there's been less then 130 posts when we've had Day ones last 200+ posts. I don't think anybody has contributed much to this except Krin and Myrkr.

I will say this though about my own role, while I'm not ready to say exactly who I am, I do have a 50% chance to avoid any skills used against me, investigation, murder, or role block or role protection, anything that there can be.

Good. You leave yours right where it is. I will leave mine right where it is as well. If you want to shift it to me, go ahead. But at least do it for a better reason than 'you voted for me first'.

Okay. I'd just like to point out a couple of things that will hopefully defuse the situation before it gets too hostile.

First, yes. People random-vote on Day 1. You even did it, based purely off what post number you had. That's the way it works, because there's nothing else to go on. Accusing someone of doing it is silly.

Second, saying that Krin and Myrkr have really contributed a lot/the most is ridiculous. (No offense, guys.) All you have to do is look at post counts. Shaddus has 16 posts. (Not the highest, but I'm mentioning it to illustrate a point.) Myrkr, as of now, has 13 posts, and Krin has 8. A general rule of thumb is to have at least as many posts as the Mod. You have 6.

On a personal note, stating that you have a 50% chance to avoid things like investigations was probably not a wise idea. Even if you're not actually mafia, the possibility certainly exists that you're an SK, or a "survivor" type, which I wouldn't have considered until you brought it up yourself.

Krin and Myrkr have contributed the most, because I know both their role names. Hardcore evidence(like, investigations) > post counts/weird feelings/what people say in their post. You could've posted 100 times for every one post they made and mentioned lots and lots of information, but if they brought up one post of solid evidence that can't be denied, then they've done more then you.

And on a personal note, I'm being honest about my role. I'd rather give you the whole truth now then somewhere down the line it becoming known that I gave half the truth.

It certainly seems that you did, unless I'm somehow misinterpreting this.



I'm just not sure why you're targeting Dugan, when nothing in your original post points to a reason, except for random voting. You voted for him, but cited three other people as being suspicious. I'm just trying to follow your logic, here. If you didn't accuse him of random-voting, could you please explain your actual reason, so the rest of us have something to work with? If it's a legitimate suspicion, the rest of us would love to know, because we really need something to go on at this point.

Not quite. We don't have any investigation info, because no one's provided any. All we have are death messages and a near-death message for Krin. We might know Myrkr's role name, but we don't have a confirmation. We have a partial claim, but that's it. We also don't know for certain that Krin is with the town- only that he seems to be Mog.



That's appreciated, really, but it still doesn't change the fact that you have the potential to avoid an investigation, and something like that always makes me nervous.

My actual reason for voting for him is because he is the one that led the band wagon, Rika and Arix are just as good as votes, I wanted to pressure at least one of them so I choose Dugan.

Once again, like you said, we really don't have much to go on, just like the people who voted for me. I voted for Dugan to provide something to go on and see how he responds, and that's why I'm keeping my vote on him based on his response.

I can believe Myrkr's roleclaim because of no counter-role claim, and I believe Krin's roleclaim because he copy/pasted his role. That is hard core evidence, unless someone claims otherwise.

So wait, let me get this straight. When we put some pressure on you to get you to post and your first post up is about your scenerio. You didn't claim anything as to why you were being voted for or anything. You just switched gears and went on an attack. Your right. I did get defensive. I am going to defend myself. I am not going to just sit back and let it slide when I don't have a reason to. Then you just post up that you were applying pressure ... the same pressure that was applied to you without the scenerio thrown in. You would have voted for the head of the bandwagon ... so why didn't you do it to the one who lead against Thiden, or the one against Casilu yesterday. No, you try to get the pressure off you and to someone else. I just didn't lie down and take it.

The active bandwagon was against me, and I was not here till after the lynch had already happened yesterday.

And by the way, you didn't really defend yourself, you got defensive and just re-iterated your attack on me. Defending yourself would be doing what I did and give part of my role.

And I don't think it needs to be stated why you were voting for me, or why the other people were voting for me. It was because of my five posts, very scummy right there. Oh darn, he has five of the 120+ posts.

Not to mention Dugan, your reason for voting for me was based on my active post count, I made a post that happens to be voting against you and you keep your vote against me. Sure am keeping my vote right where it is. My initial vote was cause of the vote count. I never denied it wasn't. The reasons I am keeping my vote on you because you posted your mock senerio to put pressure on me. You want to put pressure on me, go ahead ... but don't expect me to just lie back and take it. All you have done is ranted and raved like a six year old that got his toy taken away. Passive/aggressive much? I want to know why you are still trying to shift attention away from you. All you had to do was come in and say something, anything. Hell, contribute something. No, you come in with your theory. Point fingers, claim three people on a FoS. FoS Arix - Unvoted when Thiden proved he was "able to" post. Weird reason to remove a vote, but it reinforces the implication that he had almost no real reason for voting in the first place. (Especially because he saw that Thiden was in the thread when, or immediately after, he voted initially.)

Krin - I'd like to hear more from you. Especially the results of what you did last night. I assume that there is some kind of protector out and about who guarded you last night, so please don't have wasted that! Anyone know if he's been around to post yet, though?

Unvote for now, because Silvanus has been more active, and that's why I voted for him initially.

However.

I'm still suspicious of Silvanus for his claim of 50% immunity to everything, which would bother me less if it didn't include investigations. (I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record here, but I can't think of any reason that a townie would have that.)

I still want to hear from Krin about what he did/who he investigated. We have a few potentially scummy people, but we've lost two townies already so I'd like to exercise a little caution. Particularly when I'm this tired.

I'm also iffy on a couple of other people, but it's really, really late here and I'd rather my post be coherent. I'll post again when I get up tomorrow. Hopefully we won't go to Night before then!
