Why? Just because someone gives a name, that does not mean that is who they are. I made a post that anyone who has the ability could verify what I was telling as the truth. You don't have to have everybodies names to find out which side they are on. If I say what my name is, its not like you won't still vote for me ... I am the 'safe' vote, remember?

I don't know. I do find it a bit suspicious of a person who states they are thinking about using a quick lynch ability after they get investigated, thus ending the day and not allowing the investigator to post what they found. You are investigating him to see if he is telling the truth. Lets say he is mafia. He can quicklynch now, take me out. Nightkill you, take you out and you can't post what you found out. As for the diverting attention. Right now, I kind of feeling I am damned if I do, damned if I don't. I have made a post to be verified as true, but no one cares. That was 10ish pages ago now. People still vote for me claiming it as a safe vote. I can go back 15 plus pages now of constantly getting voted by Dag. I am currently 1/2 way to a lynch on one side and have someone trying to quicklynch me on the right. What would you do if you were in my place ... sit back and just wait for a lynch to happen or would you fight to stay alive?

It bothers me a little bit that Dugan hasn't claimed a name, but, then, I was reluctant, myself- simply because it's obvious (given the rising death toll) that we're dealing with "townies" who really aren't, and trying to think of the character alignments we know/remember/have researched from the game doesn't seem to be working out. Everyone thought Shadow would be the most likely SK/scum, but Rika's been a huge help with her lie detection.

We're shooting in the dark, right now, even though nearly every playable character has been claimed (and then a few that aren't). There are a few people with abilities or quirks that could easily be construed as scummy-I'll be the first to admit I was highly suspicious of Silvanus because of his abilities, and look how that turned out. More investigation, please, and less conjecture! The death toll is still rising, and we haven't accomplished much except to prove a few people innocent posthumously.

In short... Can we please stop with the chainsaw, and do a little more reasoning/fact-checking?

Like I said, I'm mostly just curious. I posted that suggestion before seeing that Rika had investigated me. I should have read more carefully, so that was my fault. I still wish she'd used it on someone else, since it's only going to exonerate me, but that's not my call.

And also as I said before, I highly doubt there's just one member of the mafia, which means that since Biggs was town, we have to assume that at least one of the PCs isn't. Given that, I can see why I'd be a suspect, given my abilities, but as I said, I've no real reason to be concerned, as I'm a townie.

What most people do in your place is give a FULL roleclaim.




Again. as I said before. Some of us have names of people in our role descriptions of other people. So maybe some people are going off of what they know for ffvi, but I'm not. (unless someone claimed to be Mog with a giant laser sword or something)

Again with wanting everyone to roleclaim. Thats half the problem with this though Dag. You have been almost demanding that people mass roleclaim this whole game. And so far, even with all of the roleclaiming going on, none of the mafia is dead. Not one of the mafia have been identified. Whats up with that, since everyone else claimed a name? I gave a post that can be verified.

For someone who claims to be town, you sure haven't helped the town much at all. People sometimes have abilities to give false information, even if identified. All you have done Dag is gone on witchhunts and made people roleclaim ... and for all that you have done, no mafia have died and none been identified. You protecting them, by chance?
