Under the circumstances, his claim seems pretty credible, which is definitely a relief! We also got some information, but we really have no way of knowing if he's an investigator or the investigator, so we can't lynch him, and we need someone to look after him tonight.

...Which, unfortunately, brings us back to square one. I don't think I've played in a game that voted "no lynch" (first day or otherwise), so I'm not sure how to proceed. We either lynch someone, taking a chance on them being a townie, or don't lynch someone, and the person with the highest votes dies anyway, and then there's still the possibility we'll lose someone in the night.

Is "no lynch" a viable option?

Since the deadline is comming up, we have no time to have someone defend themselves, if a train starts on them.

No, I mean, it's possible to vote "no lynch," which means you don't want to lynch anyone. There are some circles who say this is generally a bad idea, though. We've only got a couple of hours (I think) before someone dies, one way or the other, so I'm trying to think of how to minimize the loss at this point. We have to vote, or Shaddus decides for us. Y'know, no pressure, or anything.

Yeah, that's definitely a problem. Even if we did put pressure on someone to get more information, they probably wouldn't have time to respond... or at least not adequately.

Why would it be silly? If he says, "Lynch someone or I kill the person with the highest vote count," that's pretty simple. What I want to know is whether or not "no lynch" counts as lynching someone for the purposes of his deadline. If it doesn't, we're better off putting our votes on someone, instead of letting him choose randomly.

...Hence why I'm not voting, and why I'm waiting for a response from him.
