I've never gotten dingbats the conventional way, and I'm not about to start! I'm a consumer, just like the ones who started this thread.

I'm puzzled by this. A person has to buy 1000 cr just to get 75 dingbats, which works out to more cr per dingbat, not to mention the fact that you really have to invest hard in them and the ONLY way they come about is money. People wanting lots of 100 from the same person, heh, you're looking at someone shelling serious cash out for CR in the first place, since the next tier is 2000 cr or buying them on an alt to get the remaining 25.

An interesting addition to the credits market, would be the option to put Dingbats up there as well, just so we can have the fun of screwing over yet another IG market.

I see your point, but I still disagree with it. You pay the money, you receive the credits. The dingbats are a free gift you happen to receive at certain times of the year. The things you buy with the dingbats are silly, and I personally would not value them as being worth the credit cost given this conversion factor (5cr/dingbat). I have the tonic and fickle finger only because they were quite inexpensive and therefore worth it just for the fun.

Wait - I think I misunderstand how this dingbat thing works - Wouldn't 1000 credits get you 150 dingbats?

100 15 dingbats
300 30 dingbats
500 30 dingbats
1000 75 dingbats
2000 150 dingbats

I assumed if you bought 1000 credits you got the 15 for 100, 30 for 300, 30 for 500 as well as the 75 for 1000... Or do you have to buy all those different packages?

Correct. A 2000 credit purchase gives you 300 in total.

If you only want those, then sure, it's not worth it. The items I sold last year were scarecrow hats. This year, I'm sure I could get 5cr/per for pig nose or a bubble cubix.

Question:

There is a limit of 300 dingbats per promotion period per character. Does this limit count for IN GAME bought dingbats too?

EDIT: IF the answer to my question is no then I'm still seeking dingbats, if it is yes then I'm out.. sadly.

It's just a limit on what you can receive by purchasing CR with RL money.
