What would really be bad is if the snout made the wearer oink when it's used.

Your suggestion isn't really very reasonable unfortunatly.

I don't see why not. And I bet it would be less effort than changing all artifacts to runes (which was your suggestion, and I think shot down by Estarra once already.)

two things.

1. They sell artifacts to hide your artifacts.

2. The objects still exist, and are still crazy looking, just now you can't pretend they arn't there.

You can just as easily, pretend they don't exist and ignore them, as you can turn it off, or you can buy the artifact which allready does this for you.

But I think it would be best if the artifacts were made so that they didn't have these problems in the first place. (however, I'm thinking that the pig snout, can raelly be seen as more of turning you into a trolloc, then it is some silly pink costume piece.)

Dingbat items are meant to be whimsical items. Yes, they can be customized.

I don't object to changing a few non-dingbat items into runes--though a blanket statement of "change them all" isn't really going to go anywhere (as opposed to "change these 5 artifacts into runes because xyz" which would get more serious consideration).

Upcoming releases may (or may not!) make many of these complaints irrelevant so I won't say any more about it!

Well, at the very least, if this is the biggest complaint someone can make about the artiesale / dingbat promotion this holiday, you're doing something right!

We could usually be getting the 'oh god artifacts shouldn't exist ever' or 'credits are the devil' arguments.

Off the top of my head are the spectacles of clairvoyance, and the spectacles of something else.

And the boots and sandals.

Brooch of the Tempest, the various gloves (herbalist, poison, enchanting), the scarecrow hat (though that's dingbats)...

You can customize the pig snout to be your own snout

In addition to what Xenthos listed, the various rings, and the various footwear ones, have been brought up in the past, as well as the changeling cameo and gem of cloaking.
